  Fire alarm woke us up on second floor at 1 in the morning. When fire department showed up, they stated that the hotel alarm system had not activated for the first floor (where staff would have heard it). There's also a billboard in the lobby warning not to use lysol spray in rooms as it will set off the fire alarm... We lost an hour of sleep for cleaning spray? Staff did not seem to know what to do in event of fire, stated "I've only been here a week." Find it concerning that the fire system does not function properly and alert staff at desk about potential life threatening issues.

  Loud party till 11pm. Complained to front desk, told nothing they could do. Asked for quiet time, was told 10pm. Told I could talk to manager on Monday. Talked to guest services, who said it was private owned, nothing they could do but did make a complaint. Who's in charge? Who runs this hotel in the absence of the manager till Monday? Mold in shower, rust on bathroom ceiling. Worst IHG Holiday Inn Express experience out of many. Don't waist your money staying here.

  I had to stay in Tennessee for work and my coworkers recommended this place. Overall I'd say this was an ok experience. It's in a generally quiet and safe area with a Kroger in walking distance and a Target 5 minutes away so I like the location. The rooms were nice and clean. The bathrooms were good as well. I loved the shower space. My toilet was cracked and I could see some deteriorated wood along the edge of the shower but it wasn't too off-putting. Our biggest complaint was how loud the air conditioning was. If you're someone who needs absolute silence to sleep, you might have some trouble here. You'll either need to sweat for silence or you'll have to power through the noise. The whole hotel felt like it wasn't really air conditioned well whether you are in the halls or checking in at the front. If you take the stairs for any reason you will feel so much heat. Breakfast is passable. You won't see many changes throughout the week. It's pretty much the same every day but I like the options they have. We did have breakfast start 2 hours later than it was supposed to on our last day but we're just glad they got it together...though the food was cold from them rushing it out.

  Don’t do it! This place is horrible and dirty. The hotel was a mess. Rooms stunk, floors dirty all over, breakfast was awful, bugs on walls, and rude employees. Also, they have no kind of rules against noisy guests. We had to endure two sleepless nights due to partying guest next door that were incredibly loud from night to early dawn. Never again will we stay here or at another Holiday inn express at that!

  Extremely bad experience. People have party the whole night at pool to 5am in the morning. Couldn’t sleep at all.
