I assume my issue was just for my building but we had a big problem that ruined our vacation because my kids were freaked out the whole time. Ants and centipedes infested our room. The mountain caused water to keep across the parking lot at my door area so I assume it's a problem for me and a few others but no all. I also know in that building a lady had bug bites all over her. Only one pool is open. The restaurant is closed and the breakfast was a few different muffins and an orange juice however that was all gone at 8 am. The staff is awesome, the views are awesome, we had a bear encounter so cool, it's literally in the heart of everything fun. Minus the bugs it was a nice visit.

We stayed one night, booked a king sized bed and ended up with two queens, no problem though. Absolutely loved the location of the hotel! Walking distance to almost everything. Staff was friendly. We had a few issues in the beginning while getting checked in, the door to our hotel room was left open by maid service, we had originally requested a new room and the second rooms keycard did not work with the room. We ended up going back to the original room but have been having issues with the key card all night. Apparently the cards cannot be beside phone, keys, wallet, etc because it messes with it’s ability to work. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience but i’m not sure i’d book again mainly because it took me 30 try’s to get my keycard to work.

If I could leave 0 stars I would the only reason I am leaving a review is for the sweet lady at the front desk who help me on my last night out of 3 nights there with a friend.
Arriving to the hotel everything was fine , we were there for a NATIONAL pageant which in the pageant world is a big deal.
The first day of optionals the thermostat read 83°…
Yes that’s right 83°. In the state of SC anything over 80° is dangerous.
Temperatures reached over 86° in the ballroom. We even had a contestant throw up, the only place with AC was our rooms, and even with that we had rooms with a sinks broken.
Our director and contestants had to move our pageant to the lower level and redo everything the day before finals just for a 4° temperature difference.
We were treated like no one cared by the front office and house keeping with 0 request for towels and trash bags being answered . We were lucky to catch some matience men willing to help us in the heat, in a hotel ballroom , in Tennessee, in the summer. Honestly it was cooler outside. I can not begin to discibe how hot it was. Our director put her whole heat and bank account into this to be treated like we did not matter.

I had an existing reservation in Gatlinburg and later found a promotional deal. After several calls and providing extensive personal information (income, location, visa status, etc.), I was told I qualified, completed the booking, and even confirmed eligibility before canceling my original reservation.
A month later, just one week before the trip, I received multiple automated calls to confirm the reservation. When I called back, I was asked to provide all my information again. After a 15-minute "confirmation" call, I was suddenly told I was not eligible for the promotion and would need to pay extra to keep the reservation, or it would be canceled.
This was extremely frustrating. Had they informed me earlier, I could have explored other options. Instead, they waited until the last minute, leaving me with little choice. Customer service is really poor and rude. I lost trust in the process and canceled the reservation. Whether this was a genuine mistake or a tactic to charge more at the last moment, it resulted in a very poor experience.

Beware there app. Is like a time share scam! Promoting & advertising vacation packages. I thought I was paying for 4 days three nights for $ 99.00 plus 17.99 for trip insurance. I had to pay this total up front.paid it with my visa debit card. All background check good because the money was out of my checking account you would think right? Wrong come to find out after talking with someone else in a different compartment. They declined me.just because I did not have a major credit card! They never ask me that information in the beginning. But they got my $119.00 anyway. Now I got to go through the bullshit to get my money put back on my visa card.....Boy I am pissed!.... lol.
