Great service and location, but rooms need updating!
The Room:
Our room was clean and served its purpose, but the decor felt a bit dated. The bed was too soft for my personal preference. We also had a frustrating issue with the room door—it was very sticky, and we had to slam it hard every time we left.
The Service:
The staff truly shines here! When we discovered the coffee maker in our room wasn't working, housekeeping brought up a brand-new replacement immediately.
The Location:
You cannot beat this location for getting around. The local trolley stops right at the resort entrance, and the main transit station is just next door within easy walking distance.

It's a great, quiet location. The staff is wonderful but unfortunately this resort is very out dated. It still had the original bathroom vanity we believe from when it was built and the dressing area from the 60s. We was given a adjoining room although we was traveling solo which had a significant gap under the door that we shoved towels under. We felt we had no privacy because we could hear everything next door. The bed was ok...our ac unit went out sometime during the night and we had no lights in the bathroom in the morning we left so showering was a challenge. The breakfast they advertised isn't breakfast! It's grab and go items. All in all...ok for a overnight stay if your passing through but I wouldn't stay longer than that. The whole resort needs a major face lift. It's not a very kid Friendly resort either. Now if you fall in the older generation...70s plus you might think this place is awesome.

This hotel is fantastic. It has a great location, and the rooms are extremely functional. The price is amazing for everything they offer.
Honestly, I don’t understand why people complain so much in the bad reviews. If they want a five-star hotel, they should go and pay for a five-star hotel. Some people complain about everything—they want something super cheap, but at the same time they expect a luxury hotel.
In my opinion, for the price, this hotel is really, really good. It offers great value, and I think it’s definitely worth it.

Me personally I would not recommend staying here until they get a remodel and more workers. I stayed here for a birthday get away and I did not have the best experience. My first night it was a spider on the showerhead and the restroom barely had tissue in there luckily I had some of my own.
Room service wasn’t the best. I called for a new blanket because of spots from the previous guest and I went out for the night and I was out for maybe 2 hours and when I got back my blanket still was not there.
The phone that usually comes in a hotel room to contact the front desk did not work neither did the TV remote so I had to control the TV with the buttons on the TV. Location was great. Most things was walking distance.

The staff up front were friendly. The view from our room was amazing. The location was perfect for us. The room was rustic and clean. Now here were the not so best things
1) The bar/restaurant across the street was blaring music late into night/early morning so not the best for kids.
2) The room needed a few updates, the door to the bathroom was damaged as well as the ceiling tiles.
3) The parking/ finding your building wasn't the easiest thing.
With that being said, I would stay there again with the goods out weighing any of the bad.
