  One of the best hotels in Gatlinburg! The complimentary parking is a huge advantage, and the free breakfast offers a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff is incredibly friendly, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is excellent—the Red Trolley stops right at the hotel, and most of Gatlinburg's major attractions are within easy walking distance. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gatlinburg.

  Our two-night stay at Holiday Inn Express Gatlinburg Downtown exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. Everything is within a short walk, including restaurants, cafés, arcades, and ice cream shops. The Gatlinburg SkyPark is about a 5-minute walk, and Anakeesta is only about 12–15 minutes away, making it easy to explore without needing to drive. The hotel’s indoor water park was a huge hit with my boys. After spending the day driving and exploring in the summer heat, it was the perfect way for them to cool off and have fun. I also want to recognize the outstanding customer service at the front desk, especially Marcus. I had a few requests during our stay, and every time I stopped by, he greeted me with a positive attitude and was genuinely happy to help. He made me feel comfortable asking for anything we needed, and his kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel is clean, well maintained, family-friendly, and in an unbeatable location. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Gatlinburg.

  The location is perfect since it's almost right in the middle of downtown Gatlinburg. The TV for this room was absolutely horrible though. The color scheme was off and it didn't even have a guide channel. You literally had to scroll through each channel dodging commercials to find something to watch like it's 1980. The pool isn't bad and has a lot of fun for the kids. It was disappointing that the concessions were wiped out from an event and weren't restocked on our stay.

  We traveled from Texas to the Smoky Mountains for a 3-day vacation and stayed at Holiday Inn Express Gatlinburg Downtown. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. The hotel was clean, spacious, and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable, and the property was kept in great condition throughout our stay. One of the biggest advantages was the ample parking available, which made coming and going very convenient. The location is fantastic within walking distance of Anakeesta and many of Gatlinburg’s popular attractions, shops, and restaurants. We hardly needed to drive once we checked in. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Smoky Mountains area.

  Pretty nice hotel for the money. Just a short walk down airport road to all the action. The staff at front desk were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were decent size and clean. Our bed was comfy and we had plenty of pillows. I feel they could add a few more items to the breakfast menu.
