  Our family was going to stay here this past weekend on a vacation to see some family in Hazel Green. When we arrived the staff at the front desk was nice and the lobby seemed nice. We got our keys for the room, it was first floor around the side of the building. We pulled around and as we got out of our vehicle there was probably 4-5 people on the second balcony just sitting in lawn chairs staring at us, so much that it made my daughter uncomfortable. It also stunk like weed which is crazy because we were outside and not right next to them. We got our bags out and went into the room without saying anything to anyone, and the room even smelled like weed. We weren’t sure if there was another hotel in town but we left to go grab our kids some food and look around. Found a Hampton Inn just down the road, didn’t smell like weed, no one stared at us like a creep, and it was cheaper. So we went back, got our bags, went into the lobby and we told them we weren’t staying there and they said we would still get charged a day. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel and I forgot to mention as we were leaving the hotel we witnessed a guy pull up in a crappy red car and do a drug deal with one of the people on the second floor balcony.

  The complimentary breakfast is delicious! There’s variety to choose from to eat and drink (I especially love the peppermint tea). The housekeeping is spectacular and always organizes my skincare products neatly on the sink. Very helpful staff!

  Very clean and nice big rooms.. Staff so professional and friendly..especially Leigh Ann front desk Morning breakfast delicious. Beds slept good. Thank you all! WandaT

  Service was great. I travel for work and this was one of the only places that seemed decent. They’ve done some renovations but I found the rooms to be lacking; could’ve been a little cleaner and the tub backed up into the shower. The curtains also didn’t cover the window fully which made me nervous of others looking in and the room stayed bright through the night due to the lights outside. Pricey in my opinion but there aren’t many options.

  The hotel is easy to get to and has plenty of parking available. The room was very clean and modern. The staff was professional and friendly.
