  Elevator out since April 26, we stayed there in Oct. Staff is amazing but in bad position having to apologize and helping to haul luggage up stairs. Not sure if its a supply issue or lack of caring by owner. 6 months though...not up to Holiday in standards. Beds kinda iffy too.

  Flea bag! The charming woman at the front desk greeted us gray haired travelers thusly: “You both look like you’re in great shape.” Uh-oh. This was by way of breaking the news that the elevator was out, and we were booked in a third floor room. Judging by reviews elsewhere, the elevator in this hotel has been broken for more than three months. The carpet was stained throughout. But hey, at least we didn’t get bed bugs (as far as we know)!

  I don’t want to even give one star to this place!!! Was expensive to stay here higher than similar properties closer (put my faith in the IHG brand) plus it was nasty and undergoing major construction! The elevators did not work and I was recovering from a broken neck, in a neck immobilizer. It was gal at the front desk’s second night working and she was by herself!! She didn’t know to ask if I needed assistance w my bags - she was simply trying to keep her head above water and survive!! Unbelievable that the management would do that to her!!! The floor we stayed on was 1/2 shut down with dust filled plastic up to the ceiling on all walls. The emergency stairs exit was literally BLOCKED OFF - what if there’d been a fire?!?! SOL, I guess?! The smoke detector in my room was covered w plastic as well. I’d mentioned these things to the MOD (manager on duty) when we checked out - her response to all I’d said? “Well, guess they did’t want to get paint on it!!!” SERIOUSLY?! Reached out to the manager at the hotel twice before reaching to IHG corporate for assistance. They also attempted to speak w the manager and left word for him to contact me. He / she did not!!! Even after I contacted corporate a second time - they said this was all so unacceptable and that I would be hearing back from them within the week. A month later, I followed back up w corporate and was told this time that they could do nothing further. SERIOUSLY?!?! This was such an abomination to other Holiday Inn Express locations!!!!! It’s doubtful we will ever stay with them again!!!! Even though the location is so convenient to travelers passing through - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO STAY ANYWHERE ELSE (Motel 6? Super 8?)!!!

  We stayed there and found it dated - yes... but clean. When we were there a Miss. Tammy was at the front desk and was outstanding. She really made us feel safe, welcome and was kind and accomendating. The staff was amazing. I think it is 'Indian owned,' as in of India - not North American Native Peoples. As a whole, when we have traveled, and perhaps this is a generalization, but based on our expereince - they seemed 'out of touch' and perhaps - march to their own drummer and expectations - that may be the reason for the dated or tired feel of the hotel itself. They seemed to having a meeting in the breakfast area the day we were there. It's actually the staff that makes it all work. They go way beyond any expectation, and make up for any 'short comings,' and should be recokinzed for the outstanding job they do. The morning breakfast was well appointed and warm - hot - with options. CLEAN. The young lady who was running it took pride in what she was doing. People, managers, and staff - should be paid well for what they do to make this hotel get the wonderful reviews it does. The pool is nice. The lobby calm and an easy place to rest. The small gym room was clean and had enough. Would we reccommend. Yes. But don't have HIGH expectations... it is older and a tad worn, but CLEAN, welcoming, and the staff is really professional and kind.

  Omg. Worst staff ever. We had a reservation and after a long road trip arrived at he hotel at 1230pm. I asked to check in but the clerk quickly stated "check in is at 3pm". I said we are on the road and going to a sporting event that will take while and we won't be back until two or three AM and asked if our reservation still be valdi? The very rude clerk stated check your reservation "check in is at 3pm". I asked if there were any rooms available; but she cut me off "I've already told you check in is at three; the desk is open 23/7". I'm not upset about not being able to check-in early, it the cold demeanor of the clerk. She does not have ANY customer service skills at all. A simple "lets me seen or I will ve sure they wlknow you are coming or something. She clearly has a god complex. So we returned and were able to check in at two AM only to find the elevator does not work and we had a room on the third floor. The next morning my wife walk down for breakfast at 930, the time breakfast is closing. My wife spoke with the front desk clerk (a different person) who advised the food was still out and to come eat. My wife called me and when we arrived 2-3 minutes later the kitchen closed and employee refused to allow us to eat, after the desk clerk stated there was time. This place is terrible DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS OR MONEY
