  I had a great experience here. All of the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. I have stayed 4 nights the last couple weeks and they have been very consistent. The only thing is the TVs are not consistent. Some father's rooms have TVs were you can get to every app on the remote, other rooms you can't. I'm pretty sure this is a newer hotel, bc some father's rooms still smell like fresh carpet.

  This is a hotel in the IHG family. This particular hotel is nicer than some of the Holiday Inns. Will stay in again when down this way!

  I want to say to the Garner Inn. THANK YOU! A death of a young member of our family brought us here and from start to finish the staff, accommodations and everything made our stay very welcoming and comforting. In particular I had many interactions with Deborah who is an Angel and Kenny on the night shift. HUGE shoutout to these two and all the staff.

  Everything was great, clean rooms comfortable beds and the staff is wonderful, great location near shopping and restaurants. This was are second stay at this location. We will definitely be staying here again.

  I stayed at Garner Hotel Clarksville Northeast by IHG on August 2, 2026, and overall I would give my stay an 4 out of 5. I checked in around 10:20 PM and was greeted by the third-shift front desk employee. I unfortunately cannot remember his actual name, but he jokingly told me that if I wrote a review, I should call him “Kenny.” He was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated after arriving later in the evening. At check-in, I was informed that the key machine was having issues and that I could only receive one room key. I was originally assigned Room 215, but when I went upstairs, I was unable to get into the room and ultimately had to be moved to Room 217. Once in Room 217, I noticed several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken, there was hair in the bed, a lightbulb was out near the entryway, and there was a suspicious-looking stain on the couch. None of these things individually would have completely ruined my stay, but together they definitely affected my impression of the room and its overall cleanliness. There were some positives. Breakfast was good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of TV channels available. The front desk interaction was also friendly despite the issues with the room and key system. As an IHG employee myself, I understand that maintenance issues happen and that not everything is within the control of the front desk staff. However, cleanliness and basic room maintenance are extremely important, and finding hair in the bed was particularly disappointing. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but there is definitely room for improvement. With better attention to housekeeping and preventative maintenance, I think the experience could have been much better. For this stay, I would rate it 4/5.
