  Recently just stayed here for a week long anniversary trip the room was great location was awesome right in the heart of downtown walking distance to alot of stuff only issue was services like I can understand closing the pool down at 10 on weekdays maybe keeping it open til 11 or 12 on weekends but the sun deck could stay open a little longer then 10 I like sitting outside alone at night in peace and having to walk down to the street to do it is just too much and the valet service is terrible kept hearing it was 25 day asked two employees one was a valet tenant and he stated I would find somewhere else to park we used the valet service 2 days and was still charged a full week and none of this mentioned upfront til you get the bill self park is an option alot of us ain't helpless we can park our own cars do better

  Horrible horrible service from the valet to the girl working in the desk so inconsiderate would not acknowledge me trying to check out or even standing while she stands there having a conversation with someone she’s no even helping as far as valet goes I will talk to upper management appreciate management taking the time to respond. I would absolutely welcome the opportunity to speak with you personally, as you offered in your response. Unfortunately, no name, phone number, email address, or other contact information was provided. I am more than willing to discuss my experience directly and would appreciate a way to contact you. I even got a picture of the valet attendant but the one who drove my car i literally watched him hit the corner in my car like he in a nascar race I don’t even drive my vehicle like that completely unaccountable but nothing will get done it never does!!

  The customer service was the worst we have ever experienced. Truely rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful. I’ve never felt less welcomed in any establishment; hotel or otherwise. Also, we specifically asked if parking was complementary and was told yes, only to arrive to find out it’s $25 + tax per night. The gentleman at the front desk, Aaron, was wildly unfriendly and made us feel like a burden to even be there. Couldn’t even break a smile. Told us we could stay somewhere else (without refund) if we didn’t like the parking charge. Pulled the “I don’t know who you talked to, but that’s the way it is”. Oh and side note, breakfast isn’t complementary either ($20 per person each day). We attempted to call IGH to figure it out but the call kept getting disconnected so we were stranded. I really terrible way to end a long travel day. We will honestly never stay with any Holiday Inn again.

  Great location for sure, within minutes to the aquarium, zoo, and ruby falls. Rooms were nice and clean, front desk and valet were very nice. BUT it was so disappointing how cold the indoor pool was everyday, I even called prior to booking to make sure the pool was actually heated and not just the pool room was heated, was told the pool was nice and warm. Wrong, it was way too cold to comfortably get in so me and my husband didnt swim at all and even my kids were ready to get out pretty fast. Won't stay here again for that reason

  This hotel is not family-friendly. The FORCED valet service is $25/day and it is your ONLY option for parking, apparently. The restaurant is advertised on IHG as "kids eat free". This is falsely advertised as it's only kids 3 and under. The restaurant itself was an absolute mess, not to mention that $35 for a salad bar is insane. The hotel room we stayed in was also not ideal for a family. The pull-out couch was practically on top of the a/c unit. The a/c unit was LOUD. We all slept horribly because of it. The toilet paper dispenser was about to fall off the wall, the bathroom door wasn't hung right (we had to lift the door up to close it) and the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't seem to be working. We ended up cutting our 2-night stay down to one and got the heck out by 6am. We booked a different Holiday Inn just 30 minutes away and we are SO glad we did. The front desk staff didn't seem to care when we told them we were leaving early, twice. Will never stay here again.
