Alaysia greeted us at the door and we knew within minutes this was the place of stay. She was great with local places to eat (Scotties on the River was everything she promised). We discovered Alaysia was a "jack of all trades" when our door scanner stopped working, she didn't offer us new keys, she came up and checked to see what was wrong. Then she came up with her tools & got to work. Everything works fine now! We will be back!

Don't waste your money. We arrived late; check-in was uneventful, but the hotel is older and not updated, which in itself is not an issue. The elevators are bad, borderline unsafe; they dropped an inch or two when I stepped on. The elevator smelled, and that smell went all the way inside the room. We were exhausted, so we passed out on the bed. The next morning, we realized the toilet wouldn't flush toilet paper, all drains were slow, and the room was not clean. They updated some of the fixtures but left a very disgusting tub. There was low pressure in the shower. The breakfast was a joke; they were not that busy, and the host could not keep it stocked. The food didn't look appetizing, so I went for the instant oatmeal, but there was no way to cook it besides hot water from the coffee machine. Not what I expect from Holiday Inn. I've traveled all 50 states and some overseas; this is by far one of the worst hotels we've stayed at.

I had to wait more than ten minutes for the front desk staff as they weren't at their post. Now I'm checking my card statement and it shows two nights charged, but I only stayed one.
