★★★★☆ Good experience at the Holiday Inn Express in Caryville, TN. Convenient location, easy access to the interstate, and a nice place to stop while traveling through the area. Overall, a solid option for anyone passing through Caryville or exploring the surrounding area. Nothing overly fancy, but a convenient place to stay and a good choice for an overnight stop. I’d certainly consider staying here again, plus pet friendly and we liked that also.

This is by far the worst IHG hotel I have ever stayed at. From the moment I walked into the hotel, I noticed a terrible odor that smelled like urine or mold. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve when I reached my room—the room had the same unpleasant smell. The customer service representative at the front desk was also extremely unwelcoming and unprofessional. As an IHG member, I am accustomed to being thanked and appreciated for my loyalty, but this representative showed very little courtesy or interest in helping me. Her attitude made an already disappointing experience even worse. To make matters worse, the room was extremely hot and muggy, and the air conditioning barely worked. Trying to sleep in a hot room with a strong urine- or mold-like odor was absolutely miserable. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and far below the standards I expect from IHG. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will not be staying at this location again. I sincerely hope IHG takes these concerns seriously and addresses the cleanliness, odor, air conditioning, and customer service issues at this property.

Nice shower and bed. Lights are dim and blinds were jammed. Good for an overnight stay.

They put me in a ‘pet friendly’ room without telling me. I love dogs but I’m very allergic. When I brought this up at the hotel and to corporate, they shrugged it off. Not what si’m used to at HIE.

Had to pull off the road during a road trip recently because of a bad storm I encountered. Halley was working the desk that night and she was so helpful in getting us a room all while dealing with a system that was down and power outages going on because of the storm. I highly recommend this hotel.
