  I want to start by saying, the staff could not be nicer or more professional. The service truly has been top notch. However, the rooms themselves could use some work. The 3rd floor hallway reeks of cat urine and mildew horribly. Like, you can actually almost taste the ammonia in the air. The first room we got, the bathroom was full of old dog pee and stunk to the high heavens, and had busted millwork. The painting in the bathroom had mold growing on it, under the glass somehow. We were, however, immediately upgraded to a much nicer room with no questions asked. The new room still has stains all over the carpets, from what we dont know and can only assume, and carpet ripped in spots and a few rogue stains on the walls, but remarkably is still much nicer than the original. The stairwell also has what appears to be blood stains on the carpet. If you're trying to come or go from the hotel anywhere close to 4pm-6pm, you will have one heck of a time trying to get to the main road. Traffic is insane and incredibly dangerous as you have to cross a busy highway with no lights or stop signs. I do want to stress though, the staff has been very accommodating and beyond kind. Its been an overall decent experience, the staff has made the stay better for sure, I would just certainly keep an eye out for the cleanliness around you.

  Great location, planty of parking and great weekly rates. Rooms include kitchen with full size refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher also 2 burner cook top and coffee maker. Rooms are a bit dated but considering the price it's worth consideration

  Great location, spacious room. I loved that we had a fridge to keep drinks cold for soccer next day, the pull out bed was convenient and comfortable for two boys to share. I loved that we had a door to separate our bedroom from the kitchen and living area.

  As an IHG Platinum Elite member who travels extensively, I am deeply loyal to the brand, which makes writing this review unfortunate. During my recent stay at the Candlewood Suites Knoxville Airport, I had to change rooms twice due to severe odor issues.Room 305 had a strong, undeniable cigarette smell. After flagging this, I was moved to Room 306, which unfortunately smelled heavily of dogs. My 3rd room was good. I have two dogs at home myself and know firsthand that it is entirely possible to keep pets clean without leaving a lingering odor, so it was disappointing to encounter this. Guests who violate smoking policies or bring poorly kept pets should be charged extra to properly deep-clean these spaces. Better yet, IHG should consider dedicating specific, designated rooms for dog owners to prevent this from affecting other rooms. The saving grace of this stay was the staff. The front desk employees were incredibly professional and polite, and the housekeepers were wonderful. I am certain the housekeeping team does their absolute best to keep the property clean, but they can only do so much against severe smoke and pet odors. The staff deserves five stars, but management needs to address room odor controls and guest accountability.
