  I attended a bridal shower at this hotel about three weeks ago, and unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working. The room was extremely hot—so hot that the frosting on the cookies was actually melting off. What also surprised me was that a woman at the front desk asked me, as a guest attending the event, who was paying for the rental of the room. I thought it was an odd and unprofessional question to ask a guest. Unfortunately, I experienced the same situation again two weeks later when I attended a wedding in that same room. The temperature was around 78 degrees inside the venue. We were told maintenance was checking the system, and the manager eventually brought in a few fans, but they did very little to make the room comfortable. I understand that there was not a lot The manager could do to fix the problem. She was helpful and I know she felt horrible about the situation. This is an issue that the OWNER of this hotel should address! Once again, the same front desk employee (not the manager) approached me and asked who was paying for the rental of the room. Again, I was simply a guest attending the event. I found it especially uncomfortable that this happened twice, at two separate events, involving the same employee. The heat became so unbearable that some guests left before the meal was served, and others left before the dance. The frosting on 4 beautiful wedding cakes was melting off of them- It was incredibly disappointing to see a wedding celebration affected this way. I understand that mechanical problems can happen, but when the same air-conditioning issue occurs at two events within a couple of weeks—especially in the same room—it should be taken seriously. There should also be better communication and professionalism when dealing with guests. I hope management addresses both the ongoing issue with the air conditioning and the way guests are being approached by staff. People attending weddings and other special events should be able to enjoy the occasion in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

  Hotel was very clean and staff were all very friendly and professional!! They keep this hotel very nice! I will stay here again and highly recommend it to others!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

  Worked perfect for my trip to pick up some bulls. Breakfast was hot a ready.

  Hotel was nice and clean, easy check in, and great staff. The breakfast lady was especially friendly. The hotel is updated, modern, and comfortable. The only downside was that the hot tub was drained and under repair (hence the four star rating). Once that is fixed everything will be great.
