  Just love Sraybridge suites. Great breakfast, wonderful employees, and good locations. I hate that the toilets are low. Please , please put in chair height toilets.

  Do you like the smell of cat urine? I know that I don't. However, when I walked into my room at the Staybridge Suites it smelled like a litter box. A litter box that hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The smell was strong and extremely offensive. It hit us the moment that we walked into the bedroom. This was before we walked into the bathroom and found feces on the base of the toliet. Not a smudge, not a stain, but actual feces. If you wonder why we didn't request another room, we did. This was the second room that we were given after the first room was 86° because the air-conditioning malfunctioned. Our room conditions were nauseating, offensive, and absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one under the IHG brand. No guest should ever be handed a room in this condition. It shows a complete failure in basic housekeeping, quality control, and respect for the people paying to stay here. This wasn’t a minor oversight. This was a filthy, foul‑smelling room that should never have been assigned to anyone. I reached out to the General Manager, Melissa by email and received a "form letter" response that offered nothing except a generic apology. Based on this experience alone, I would strongly caution others against staying at this property. If this is the level of “cleaning” happening here, stay far, far away.

  Rude front desk and general manager. Room was very disgusting, clearly not cleaned from the guest before.

  Nice clean rooms. Very good breakfast, the pool and hot tub are also very nice.

  We were in room 108. The bathroom floor is delaminating and buckling. We asked for a different room and none were available. Notified the front desk the bathroom was unsafe due to the buckled floor which is a minor trip hazard but worse in is the floor is too unlevel to properly mop and clean and mop water can get under the buckled flooring which leads to a mold and bacteria breeding ground. The manager advised she has sent pictures to corporate and they hope to be able to do repairs in 3 months while apparently renting out the room. We notified Sioux Falls Health Department complaint UHC 1814 of the unsanitary conditions. They gave us a refund but this room should have been out of service prior to our visit.
