  My three-night stay at the Rushmore Hotel was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I did not have hot water during my entire stay. After I reported it, the front desk told me maintenance had addressed the issue and marked it complete. However, I still had no hot water. My sink also did not drain properly, and I have photographs documenting that problem. Communication about the airport shuttle was equally frustrating. At check-in, I was not informed that a shuttle was available or that it required advance reservations. When I called three hours before I needed transportation, the representative repeatedly said I needed to call “in advance.” Only after I asked how far in advance was I told that reservations had to be made the day before. That information should have been provided at check-in. The conference itself was great, and the conference rooms were nice, although the temperatures were uneven. Unfortunately, my hotel experience was unacceptable. Hot water, functioning plumbing, and clear communication are basic expectations. Based on my experience, I would neither stay here again nor recommend this hotel to anyone.

  While the train and the other guests were a bit loud, it wasn't unexpected. The hotel is in the downtown area and folks like to have a good time. I would come back again.

  Great experience all the way around. Parking was easy, walkable to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and updated with very comfortable bedding.

  Nice quality hotel from the atmosphere to the furnishings to the service shows they strive to be a step above other hotels. I did find however that they do not maintain their fitness equipment as some machines were inoperable or the safety clip ons were broken and unusable. They also do not provide wipes to use to clean your machine after use. That should be a standard protocol in place from a health standpoint. Other than the fitness equipment I am happy I chose this hotel for my multi-night stay.

  Booked this hotel through booking.com and pre paid before the stay. We had arrived and got checked in. They asked for a card and Identification but never told me they were charging anything on the card at the time. I got a notification and they had charged us the full amount again. We explained that we had already prepaid in advance of this stay back in July. They understood the mistake and refunded the money directly back to my account which was all fine at the time . In the meantime we had gone to our room and noticed they had taken money from my partners account which would have been a different bank account from the first time for the stay after we had just explained what had happened. We went to ask why they had taken the money again from a different account and they couldn’t explain. They said they needed to speak to their accountant, he explained it had been another mistake on their end and reassured us the funds will be refunded to my partners account in 3 working days. It has been 14 days since this mistake they made and we have not yet received a refund and we have tried contacting the property and no response has been made. We have been in contact with Booking.com also and they have said they tried contacting the property about this to see what had happened and nothing yet either. I am Very disappointed with the level of response and clarity of when we will get this money back.
