  Worth the little bit extra in price. The hotel is very clean, no odors. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast and coffee were perfect, lots of options.

  The customer service at this location is outstanding! Alaysia and Serenity were at the top of their game for both of our stays as we passed through the Black Hills. Even prior to our arrival, Alaysia helped us sort out a big mess a travel agent created. It was so refreshing to experience quality customer service! Rooms were clean and the free breakfast is a great way to start a day of sight seeing. I highly recommend staying at this modern, clean location.

  A nice central location for Rapid City area attractions with easy access to downtown. Clean and comfy rooms and a free full-size breakfast; the front desk was also very courteous and friendly! 5 stars to Best Western!

  Booked this hotel for a week-long stay while we checked out the sights. Housekeeping - good luck getting your room cleaned before 4pm - not a good job even when came: soaps not replenished regularly, floors never vacuumed, our bathmat was not replaced for 3 days so we had to use bathtowels for this purpose - they like to slam the doors all day and don't care about how much noise they make - unfriendly and don't even say good morning in the elevator when greeted Breakfast - "hot food" came out cold or lukewarm consistently (eggs, bacon, snd sausages were all cold) - the only hot food is the self-made waffles or the oatmeal - on two days, we gave up and went to the McDonald's nearby and both times, there were other hotel guests there - Again, staff are unfriendly and don't even respond when you greet them. They just stare at all the guests. They have 24-hour coffee and tea but note they lock up the milk. The reception staff is friendly but useless when you ask about service. I asked what time the rooms are supposed to be cleaned by, and they didn't even know. You just get excuse after excuse (e.g., lots of checkouts that day so priority to the checkins, so the guests who stay more than 2 nights get screwed repeatedly?). Something is wrong with the management here, who we never saw the whole week, since most of the staff are unfriendly and don't respond to guests when spoken to, whether you say good morning, ask about something, or try to get something for the room, etc. I don't understand the good reviews (which is why we booked it), as it was vastly more disappointing than we thought. We will definitely not stay here again and tell people to book anything else as it's no better than a cheap motel.

  Excellent location near the airport and convenient to all the Black Hills attractions. Rooms are immaculate, bathrooms well lit and modern. Breakfast lady keeps everything stocked and fresh and selection is excellent. But what really adds value to this hotel is the staff. Hands down the friendliest and most efficient and helpful of any hotel we have ever stayed at. Highly recommended
