  The rooms were dated and not clean. We stayed a week and our room was never cleaned even when we requested to have it cleaned 3 days in a row. No one ever showed up and when we called the front desk they informed us that new arrivals took priority over current guests and they didn’t have enough staff. Very disappointed as this is not what we expect from Best Western.

  We had made reservations for 3 nights, apon arrival the parking lot was packed with trailers, bikes, and other occupants with tents set up (not during the rally). When checking in they told us we would have to figure out parking as there overflow was full also. We ended up finding a spot and stayed. Next day we were asked to move cause we were taking up too many spots with our truck and trailer, but yet others had shade tents in spots. Then we were asked to park on the grass with the sxs. Not accommodating to us at all but they did the biker event. The beds are super uncomfortable and old. Shower was not clean and had mold on it.

  Just spent 5 days here. Rooms were comfortable, could use the carpets cleaned. Breakfast was average, kept up on demand, staff very pleasant. All in all, had a great stay. Only thing that needs to be looked at is the parking when large groups are staying. Was told there was approximately 200 motorcycle riders staying at the hotel. The issue was finding room for parking bikes and their trailers. Then add multiple side by side riders as well. Our car had motorcycles parked all around us to where we could barely get in the doors, one even parked on a sidewalk. I'm sure there was a similar issue during the rally. Hope no one had damage. We still will consider a return visit, location is great for what we came to the Hills to do.

  Only thing good about this place was the proximity to Mt Rushmore. Our room was above the septic tank, we had an epic view of a crappy trailer park. No available food. The room was outdated by years. It wasn't even cheap for this bargain basement hotel room. Do better beat Western.

  We recently stayed here and loved it! When planning the trip, I really agonized over where to stay so I wanted to leave this review to help others. The room was spacious and clean. It really felt like we had a small apartment which was great. It took us 5 days to drive there from New York so it was nice to get off the road for a bit. I loved the proximity to everything. Mt Rushmore, crazy horse, Custer, and especially the 1880 train were all nearby. My kids loved the pools! Indoor pool and hot tub and outdoor pool. That was a real highlight of the trip for them. The staff were great. We loved the breakfast, too. Biscuits and gravy every morning was glorious! Thank you, Best Western. We hope to be back someday! Highly recommend.
