  Great hotel in a fantastic location. Having to take two elevators to get to your room was a little strange on day one but by the second day it was normal. I’m sure it made the rooms quieter because the hotel was not on top of the casino or event center. We had a King 1 bedroom suite on fourth floor with a private deck that overlooked the city and it was awesome. Nice pool and spa. Dale’s restaurant had a very good, affordable breakfast. Casino was small but the sports book was fairly big for the size of the place. Main reason we stayed here was for the location. Easy walk to historic Main Street. Only gripe about entire stay was the fact that we had dishes and silverware in our room but no dishwasher and housekeeping didn’t take or clean the dirty dishes. Just left them in the sink. No recycling in the hotel that we could find but then again we didn’t see any recycling anywhere in South Dakota. Great stay. Would return.

  Nice hotel nestled into the mountainside. Had to walk thru the casino to get the elevators to the hotel. Desk staff was friendly.

  This was our 3rd year staying here for Wild Bill days and it didn’t disappoint. Great service, great food, clean rooms with a view and located within walking distance of downtown.

  This review would be much lower if it wasn't for our bartender Jenny (from the block!) last weekend. She was absolutely everything you look for while going out for a good time, if you're fortunate enough to have her working while you're there, the universe is smiling upon you. With that said, unless it was a guarantee she was there I don't see a reason to go back to the casino, got rid of their craps and a number of other tables, not hosting shows or opening the patio, vegas owners stealing the charm of Deadwood.

  Jenny is hands-down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment you sit down, she makes you feel welcome and valued. Her drink knowledge is outstanding, her recommendations are always spot-on, and every cocktail is made with care and attention to detail. What really sets Jenny apart is her personality. She’s friendly, professional, attentive, and somehow manages to keep everyone smiling even when the bar is busy. She remembers customers, keeps conversations engaging, and creates an atmosphere that makes people want to come back. If you’re lucky enough to have Jenny behind the bar, you’re guaranteed excellent service and a great experience. She is a true asset to the establishment and deserves every bit of recognition she gets. Five stars without hesitation!
