  Check in was easy for us, I pre booked this hotel for a halfway point traveling north from Florida. They accommodated my request for the two rooms booked to be next to each other. I was happy about that. Rooms- they were decent. My husband said it smelled like dog pee, we were in a pet friendly room for our cat, so I suppose it was to be sort of expected. I didn’t smell it but I did notice the air in the room felt “heavy” and I don’t know how else to explain it. Otherwise room was fine. I think a bit over priced but it is what it is. It felt like a safe area to be for the night. There was some light from flood lights coming into the room at night. Ruby Tuesday, McDonald’s and Waffle House were walkable. Breakfast- I was surprised at the breakfast. They had hot options, waffles, eggs and sausage. Also had cereal choices, fruit options and a little parfait area. As well as juices and cold water. It was a good breakfast to get in the belly and get on the road. Overall, I would stop here again.

  In 30 years of traveling back and forth to Florida. This is undoubtedly the worst lodging I've ever experienced. The only saving Grace was that the staff was very nice. When I checked into my room and went up there it smelled like there was a dead fish in there. I asked and was granted another room. That room smelled like dead fish too. Since it was late I figured there was nothing I could do about it. I went down to the clerk to see if they had any spray. She gave me a packet to put in the air conditioning vents to help with the smell. Problem was the air conditioner didn't work. Next, I went into the bathroom and found a bloody pair of women's panties behind the door. I didn't sleep much all night with the odor in the room. The next morning I went down to breakfast and the eggs were absolutely Stone Cold. I went back up to gather my things and found a cockroach on the floor. I have photographic evidence of all of this. These rooms were disgusting. There's no other way to describe them. The clerk at the deck in the morning put in for a full refund for me. I have heard nothing on that yet

  The room was clean. However, the room did smell a little musky. The bathroom was clean. There were plenty of places to plug stuff in, including some USB ports. The bottled water at the front desk was free. I asked for an extra blanket, and it was delivered to my room within 10 minutes. The room we booked was on the second floor, but when we arrived, they immediately offered a first floor room because my husband does not do stairs. The price was right. We only needed to stay one night. There was a great pizza joint right across the street.

  Location is in a small town. Walking distance to the waffle house. Awesome clean rooms. Really good breakfast. And its free!

  The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. The furnishings were poorly thought out. The refrigerator cabinet was oversized and blocked wheelchair access to the restroom. Although not a handicap room, this is still unacceptable and completely unnecessary. There is no coffee maker in the room. I travel frequently. This is the first hotel I have stayed at in years that did not have a coffee maker in the room.
