  Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The mgr, Devita, is extremely nice and courteous. Room was very clean, water very hot, breakfast plentiful and delicious. Fitness room was equipped and clean. I had a great time!!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars across the board for me! I truly cannot say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. Naughtia at the front desk is patient, kind, friendly, and genuinely goes above and beyond every single time. She is actually one of the main reasons I continue to book here. As a young woman who travels solo, I sometimes have anxiety about staying in hotels alone. Naughtia took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure I was placed in a room without a connecting door, which helped me feel much more comfortable and at ease during my stay. That level of thoughtfulness and care means so much to me. The other young lady at the front desk with the beautiful curly hair was also incredibly kind and patient. Chris was very helpful as well and made sure the lock on my door was working properly so I could feel comfortable staying on the first floor. It’s clear that you have an amazing team that genuinely cares about your guests. Every interaction I’ve had with them has been pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you, Naughtia, Chris, and the rest of the team, for making me feel safe, comfortable, and valued. I’ll definitely continue booking here! 💕

  First time with a garner brand and last time. I'm SHOCKED this is a IHG property. As someone who is diamond elite I have stayed at many IHG properties and well traveled. First impression of a run down lobby to a hallway that screams outdated. When entering my room I shut the door that's separating from the top hinge and would not lock.. turning on the light I still couldn't see a damn thing it was so dark. I turned on both bedside lamps and still was dark. Please for the love of God keep these single frosted bulbs in the 70s... If I wasent so tired from the drive and checking in late at night that I did not want to change rooms. I'm leaving this review not only to warn others but as a reminder to NEVER come back. Left a 2 star due to the hotels only redeeming quality was the front desk staff.

  If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would ! The customer service was great at first , then everything turned bad ! Housekeeping and the front desk walked into our room at 4pm and asked “are we suppose to be there “ then the person next to us and some random guy was at our door at 1:30am ! We aren’t from Sumter so we feel like the entire staff was unprofessional and doing things they had no business! It was very uncomfortable and suspicious! Would not recommend this place at all ! I wouldn’t trust them , do not leave your belongings unattended

  The room was clean but very small. Recently redone. The hotel staff seemed disinterested to engage or answer questions. The lobby was recently redone, but the hallways had a weird smell and looked like trash had been drug down them. If you are expecting a quiet hotel experience this is not the place. The walls and doors seemed like paper and all voices travelled as if you were in the same room as the person. I am a frequent traveller using IHG hotels, but I will guarantee I will never stay at this location again.
