  I have a 2 stars because of the beds. Omgosh, hard as a rock. I picked IHG because normally they have comfortable beds, and last two nights at another location, I had this same issue. Hard beds= no sleep.

  Extremely happy with our stay here. ALL of the staff are very friendly, and the property inside and out is clean and very well maintained. First time staying at an avid hotel, but will certainly not be the last based on this visit. Highly recommended!

  Dear Management Team, I would like to take a moment to recognize two exceptional employees, Tamara and Kyra, for the outstanding service and genuine care they showed to my family during our recent stay at the Summerville property from July 30th through August 2nd for our family reunion. I have traveled throughout the United States for more than 26 years and have stayed at countless hotels during that time. Because of that experience, I can honestly say that the level of personal attention and care demonstrated by these two employees truly stood out to me. Tamara, who worked at the front desk, went above and beyond in making my children feel welcomed and cared for during our stay. The attention she gave to my family was something I have rarely, if ever, experienced during all my years of traveling. She was not simply doing her job—she genuinely showed that she cared about our experience. Tamara also took the time to ask how our family reunion went and showed a sincere interest in how everything turned out. She spoke with members of my family and made everyone feel welcomed. Her kindness and willingness to take the extra time with us left a lasting impression. Kyra was equally exceptional. Her attitude was warm, friendly, and inviting. I even joked with her that she felt like family—and I don’t make that statement lightly when speaking about someone’s service. Her personality and genuine warmth helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Employees like Tamara and Kyra are valuable assets to your organization. They represent the kind of customer service and hospitality that guests remember long after they leave. I would sincerely appreciate it if both Tamara and Kyra could be formally acknowledged and commended at a staff meeting. I believe their hard work, professionalism, and genuine care deserve to be recognized publicly. Please let them know that their efforts did not go unnoticed. They made a meaningful difference in my family’s experience, and I wanted to make sure management knew about it.   Internet was out noone availabe to fix it, wanted to get my room canceled, noone was available to refund my room if it got cancled. Spoke to the front desk they couldnt help me spent 2 hours on IHG customer service they spoke to the front desk and did everything I did just again with no change in results. Id rather sleep in a bush in the rain then stay at one of these hotels

  On April 22 2025. I went to this avid close to midnight when i went to sleep it was april 23 stayed there till april 27 2025 the airport i used to go there was akron canton airport and the one i used to leave was Charleston airport it was a vacation but i still had school and they let me off for these days
