- CFCourtney FriedelMay 1, 20263.0If you are staying here for the indoor pool - don't. I booked here specifically to take my kids to the pool and was so disappointed at how gross it looked. It was cloudy and murky and green and there were clumps of hair floating around in it. I asked the front desk if they could clean it or throw some chlorine in it or something and they didn't. I asked if it is always so dark in there and they simply said yes. The rest of the hotel was well kept and clean, the breakfast was excellent, and even though the hotel is right off of the highway its still nice and quiet. I just really wish the pool wasn't neglected.
- MKMonika KempApr 21, 20262.0I asked them to change the beds and they left me the sheets to do it myself. The next day I asked them to clean the room and they didn’t clean they just left towels. I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned because there was a hair in the shower on the wall that was from before we stayed there they didn’t clean it. I am not happy. I never had a bad experience with a holiday inn until I stayed in this location. The guy at the front desk was rude and unfriendly. The pool was cold even though they calm it is heated.

The door by room 101 does not lock, it opens without a room key and I informed the front desk guy and also, the woman that was staying in 101 with her grandkids said it was broken the entire time they were there. Well, same with us! It was never fixed!!! It's an old hotel in a small town but there needs to be more attention to detail with cleaning. The floors, the bathtubs need attention.... ours was old and chipping which grossed me out and even the literal locks inside the door frame on the doors had the most disgusting build up on them!!! I was there for a short business stay and my team will return in a few weeks but I would recommend to anyone to stay away from this hotel... it's just Motel 6 with a suit on. But also, I guess you have to look at the city you're in so maybe it's par for the course. Just go to Greenville 25 minutes away and stay in a hotel there! If any of our team returns we will get pictures next time and a video of that broken lock if there are still issues.
