  Worst Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed at as a Platinum Elite member. The fat guy at reception had no personality whatsoever and was rude for no reason. Welcome gift was not provided until I had to go back down and ask. During that night, shower had no hot water. Hotel is extremely dated. Would give 0 stars if I could.

  Check in was nice and easy. My family and I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. My wife enjoyed the fish and chips (fried catfish) which was well seasoned. My child had the Salisbury steak and well seasoned mashed potatoes. I had the mango habanero wings (pretty spicy but the heat didn't stay with me all night). Our attendant was Terri. She was very pleasant and had a big smile as she helped us with our order. As a matter of fact, Terri was wearing multiple hats this night. She was bartender, waitress, as well as bus person. She kept it all together very well.

  We arrived late and needed to grab a bite for dinner. Terry was our bartender and waitress and greeted us with such genuine kindness and exceptional hospitality after a very long day of traveling and with the restaurant being close to closing time. She was patient and accommodating to our party of 3 taking her time to answer our questions and even offering a sampling of a food topping before we placed an order. Everything was delicious and came out just as we ordered. The room was very spacious and the staff honored my requests for 3 rooms right next to each other and with accessible showers. My only complaints are that the bathroom door stuck a bit in one of the rooms when closed and the floors felt a little slippery in that room. This is my 2nd time staying here and I will very likely book here again in the future.

  Didn't stay, but wanted to say that Barbara st the front desk was very helpful. We had an issue with our trip that meant a last minute cancellation, and while the 1-800 number eas completely unhelpful, Barbara instantly took care of us. We make this trip from time to time, so would definitely try to stay again in the future.

  We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn in Santee. From check in to check out, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable and newly renovated, and it was really what we needed after a long day of driving. The beds were comfortable, the hotel was nice and quiet even though there is a bar and restaurant downstairs. Breakfast offered a good variety, and it was obvious the team here takes pride in their place. What stood out most was the customer service. Every employee we came across was friendly and made us feel valued. If you're traveling through Santee, I highly recommend staying here.
