  I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. From the location, staff, pool, and the room. Everyone was so nice and VERY accommodating. We stayed about 4 nights and enjoyed every second of it. Breakfast was very good, S/O to the cook! Nothing was empty even though the breakfast area was full. Someone was ALWAYS at the front desk which was very nice to see. Housekeeping was VERY VERY nice. Thank you all, you made my first time in the area VERY welcoming! To the man that worked the front desk mainly all weekend, you truly are incredible! I hope you get a raise or a bonus or something because you’re very good at what you do, thank you for being so kind and welcoming!!

  Clearly can tell Wayne is having a terrible day had a quick question about our booking since we booked through booking.com and wasn’t to sure about the room and proceeded to tell us there was nothing he could do when that’s not what we asked lol. Then we asked about our humid room which he then sent the maintenance man up saying our ac was broken. Which it wasn’t I said he just needs to slow down and have a better day maybe

  I had 5 room reservations for Holiday Inn Express Myrtle Beach-Broadway@The Bch Myrtle Beach. From the month of making reservations and approximately 2,3 months prior to arriving I had calls with the hotel regarding deposits being taken out in June, which my reservations were for July. That was cleared up and then I received an email from Nicole Page, General Manager, where she assured me that there would be no deposits taken off the card in place. At one point I had one room paid in full prior to our check-in. Which I called and spoke Wayne while I was on the road around 130pm on our check-in date to make sure that no deposit would be taken off and he assured me no it would not be. However, I arrived there was an issue with someone checking in and I informed them to zip it and let me take care of this because I had them to place a note not allowing anyone to check-in until I arrived. But now back to the rooms and deposits. I find out that my 5 rooms are now only 4 rooms. Wayne said upper management made that decision, I asked to talk with them but no one was there. So now, they take the room that I have paid in full and I have the email letting me know it's taken care, that the room is paid for. But once I get there, I find out that they took $202.99 from this room that's paid for, and then use each $202.99 on the 4 rooms. So not only this was not authorized, but I had to purchase another room for me to have 5 rooms. Even with the refunding I was penalized not once but 5 times with interest rates from them assessing a card that was not authorized. This location is a franchise location which I just found out. So this is really a different type of Holiday Inn Express I'm use to. Also, I wasn't aware that when you check-in they don't clean the room until you check out.

  I don't usually leave reviews, but the very special person at the front desk was so good at her job, I felt it worth a review. Laneka was an absolute professional and a complete pleasure after a long day of seeing customers. Check in was super easy, restaurant review was spot on, and detailing all of the hotel amenities was extremely helpful! She even helped get my diamond number associated with the stay (I had to book with a 3rd party) Laneka, you are amazing and I hope IHG knows what they have in you! I am going to ❤️ this place on Google Maps so I know to stay here again. Thank you for an amazing effort! Laneka is absolutely Management material, IHG!!
