  Location is great. We stayed here before and had a great experience and a great room. However, this time was much different. The room was in disrepair and appeared poorly maintained and not the cleanest. There was a musty odor in the bathroom and coming from the AC. The bathroom door was off the tracks. There was sawdust where it appears to have been (poorly) repaired. It was hard to to shut and hard to open. My kids have to have me shut and open the bathroom door. The tile in the shower was cracked. The shower curtain was mounted too high so that water always leaked out into the floor while showering. I also stepped on a fish hook embedded into the carpet between the beds. We did not have any fishing equipment with us and are not fishers so it was not ours. There were two towels in the room when we arrived and there were five of us. On the first day, I asked for more towels and was told they'd bring them up. They never came. I went down the next day and there was no one at the front desk. I waited for about 10 minutes and no one ever showed up. I went back down later and got towels but usually this is a much easier process. Our next visit, we're choosing one of the other comparably priced hotels.

  Mu husband and I stayed here for 6 days for our 25th wedding anniversary. The parking lot is clean and well lit. When we entered we were greeted warmly by front desk staff and were checked in promptly. The front desk staff went over locations of the complimentary coffee bar, the snack room, where free breakfast is served, and locations for ice, pool, and laundry. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff kept our rooms clean and tidy daily, although the weekend staff was much more detail oriented than the weekday staff. The only thing that could have been better is that the shower in the room had very little water pressure. The hotel stayed busy but we could not hear other patrons in our room. The breakfast bar was top notch! Overall, our stay was enjoyable and we had a great experience.

  Came in to Charleston for a job interview and stayed here with my fiancée and the stay was amazing. Mimi was amazing up at guest services. So sweet and so informative. We will definitely be back!

  Unfortunately the customer service was not ideal. They were very short anf rude to us as soon as we arrived. They seemed flustered at the group who had just checked out and decided to be short and unprofessional to our group that checked in. The rooms were nice and clean. I just had hoped they would be nicer to our group

  We have stayed in several Holiday Inn hotels due to our kids playing travel ball. I have never had a single complaint until this one. We checked in and were given a room that had water all over the floor from the mini fridge, broken blinds that wouldn’t go up, and half the lights wouldn’t come on. We ended up getting a new room which was fine no big deal until the door handle fell off the bathroom door causing my 11 year old to get stuck and we were luckily able to get him out ourselves. Our room was not cleaned once for a week. When we asked housekeeping about it they said they didn’t speak English. The spent a hour in our room the day before we left and only made one bed. If we needed a towel we had to go to the front desk. Friends of our staying with us went and got towels and the housekeeping lady, who didn’t speak English, told him he wasn’t allowed to have them and took them out of his hands rudely. The ladies up front were the only good thing about this place. They were so friendly and very accommodating and apologetic. They understood our complaints and tried to make it right as much as they could.
