  The staff was very friendly and helpful but the rooms need work. The beds were not comfortable at all. I would recommend new mattresses and the AC unit was loud. It's definitely time for some upgrades. The location wasn't bad for the activities we planned

  Excellent hotel. Nice, quiet and spacious. Very clean. Comfortable bed, great breakfast and lots of parking. Friendly staff.

  Great location, but upon entering the halls once getting off the elevator, you’re greeted by a moldy carpet smell. Also, once I inspected the bed, there was a long piece of brown hair in the sheets once I pulled back the covers. (Which makes me believe that they don’t change the linen). I also found a long piece of brown hair in the shower. Very disgusting.

  Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel based on our stay. I’ve stayed in plenty of older and budget-friendly hotels before, and I don’t expect everything to be perfect, but the cleanliness and condition of this room were beyond what I consider acceptable. There were multiple areas with visible mold and buildup, including inside the air conditioner. The A/C had a lot of dust and what appeared to be mold throughout it. We also noticed mold around other parts of the room, along with dust and grime on the walls, cabinets, floors, and baseboards. The bedding did not look clean, and the bathroom and shower were also dirty and had visible mold. Another issue was the room door. There was a noticeable gap between the door and the frame leading into the hallway, and it did not appear to close or seal properly. That’s not something I expect to see in a hotel room. To make the stay even more memorable, we found a lizard inside the room. We took several pictures during our stay showing the condition of the room, and I’ll be including some of them with this review. These aren’t minor cosmetic complaints—the room genuinely needed a much better cleaning and maintenance before being rented to guests. We paid $201 for the night, so while I wasn’t expecting a luxury hotel, I absolutely expected the room to be clean and properly maintained for that price. The location is convenient, but that wasn’t enough to make up for the condition of the room. I would not choose to stay here again.

  I normally do not leave negative reviews, but our experience at Best Western Patriots Point was bad enough that I feel other travelers should know what they may be walking into. The cleanliness of our room was honestly unacceptable. The air conditioner had visible mold and a significant amount of dust built up inside it. The bed sheets did not appear clean, and there was what appeared to be mold around the walls/cabinets. The floors and baseboards were extremely dirty, and the bathroom was no better. There was visible mold around the bathroom area, and the shower was dirty and had clearly not been properly cleaned. And then, to top it all off, we found a lizard inside our room. I took pictures of everything and will be attaching them to this review because I think the photos speak for themselves. What makes this even more disappointing is that we paid $201 for this room. At that price, I don’t think expecting a clean, properly maintained room is unreasonable at all. I understand this is not a luxury hotel, and I wasn’t expecting a luxury experience. But for $201, I absolutely expected the basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance to be met. There is a huge difference between an older or dated hotel and a room that appears to have not been properly cleaned or maintained. The location is convenient, but unfortunately that does not make up for the condition of the room we were given. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to other travelers. Hopefully management takes these cleanliness and maintenance issues seriously, because this property has potential due to its location, but the condition of our room was absolutely unacceptable for what we paid.
