The room was fairly nice but do not pre-schedule your beach chairs from the hotel themselves. They are very far from the beach and cost more than the lifeguard supported ones by about $20. Also the complimentary water and cooler that's supposed the come with them we had to ask and get verified to get from the Tiki Hut (and they were out of the coolers). The service at the Porch was poor too. My wife and I went and there was a total of 4 other people in the entire restaurant and we waited about 30 minutes for our food to come out as well as another 40 for our ticket to pay while not recieving any refills or checkups on if our food was right. We also were not given the $20 voucher to use at the restaurant and when I asked how the credit worked the worker had no idea what I was talking about. We apparently were supposed to given it at check-in from the hotel but the front desk didn't give us anything other than our wrist bands and a card with our room number on it. When we checked out this morning the lady at the desk just said she'd email receipt and that I didn't need to do anything extra. This didn't set well with me so when I got home I called the desk to make sure and of course the said that I hadn't come down to the office to check out and it wasn't automatic. I'm glad I gave them another call to make sure since he was able to check me out over the phone. I came here a few years ago when it was still owned by Holiday Inn and it was great. I don't know what happened but management needs to communicate with and train their employees because constantly getting confused looks when asked about included stuff doesn't make you feel great as a customer.

Great hotel . We were happy with all parts of this trip from the parking lot attendant to the friendly front staff. Easy check-in and We got there early and our room was already ready. We ate at the porch restaurant(They gave us a $20 credit, which was surprising). my husband and I both had the mahi sandwich which was fantastic. The bartenders and weight staff and music at the tiki hut was a good time. I think my favorite was the little coffee shop. Best latte I’ve ever had, the honeybee latte, You have to try it and the bagels were better than New York and I heard that from someone else too. Definitely try the beach Yoga🧘‍♂️🔥😎 Sydney was awesome. My husband tried the gym up the street. If you’re looking for a good workout, they give you passes at the front deskfor free to go. Perfect long weekend, great weather I can’t wait to go back. Thank you Beach House

The hotel is clean and the location is great, but overall, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. One thing to note is that the rooms do not have microwaves. However, the front desk staff was generally happy to use theirs to warm up food for us, which I appreciated. There was one occasion when my husband asked if they could heat something a little longer because it wasn’t hot enough, and the staff member seemed somewhat annoyed by the request. The biggest issue for me was the condition of the rooms. While they were clean, they are very dated and definitely in need of a remodel. The bathrooms are small and lack adequate storage space. The tile, carpeting, and overall finishes look old. It feels like the property needs more than just a fresh coat of paint; it really needs to be updated throughout. Also, there is a plumbing issue that needs to be addressed. The hot water does not stay hot during the day. They cannot keep up with the demand for hot water. I had my five month old with me and had to wash his bottles so in order for me to make sure that there was hot enough water I had to utilize the coffee pot to retrieve water from. The location is excellent, and the onsite restaurants have good food, although I think it’s a little overpriced. Overall, this isn’t a terrible hotel, especially if location is your priority, but for the price, I expected the rooms to be more modern and comfortable. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, but I also wouldn’t say it was a horrible experience.

Had a great time while spending 5 days here! The vibe is fun, relaxed and felt very safe while here with my family! The music at Tiki hut was great and something different everyday. The pool staff was awesome, Ashley and McKenzie were amazing! Food was delicious with speedy service. Grounds were clean, friendly staff throughout the property. Location, location ,location= Perfect! Having the flexibility to spend the morning at the beach and be back to the pool by noon was an awesome accommodation, especially to please the kiddos! The ability to rent bikes and chairs on site was a plus! The chair prices are steep (would love a hotel discount) for the price to stay there. There weren't alot of people occupying them, likely because of the cost! The rooms were small, clean but nice especially because we didnt spend alot of time in it. The bathroom was clean, but dated, needing exhaust fans after noticing some rust in corners due to no escape for steam from showers. Housekeeping was great and always available to grab extra towels if needed. Front desk staff was exceptional! So pleasant, accommodating and helpful. ARMANI was so kind and personable upon check out and helping us arrange a late check out due to our evening flight. Her hearfelt kindness and understanding has made me want to return again next year! Thanks for a memorable trip to HHI. See you soon!
