- FLFarrah LuncefordAug 27, 20265.0More Than Just a Hotel Stay ❤️ I want to take a moment to recognize the amazing staff at the Holiday Inn Express in Greenville. My stay started after a very stressful and exhausting night. By the time I arrived on Wednesday, August 26th, I was completely drained and just needed somewhere peaceful to rest. The young man working at the front desk could have simply checked me in and sent me on my way, but instead, he was kind, gentle, patient, and understanding. When you’re exhausted and overwhelmed, that kind of kindness hits differently. The following morning, another gentleman at the front desk was just as polite and accommodating. I explained that I had to get to my first day of work and needed somewhere to safely store my bags. He took my bags and made sure they were taken care of. That may seem like a small thing, but to me, it was HUGE. I was already worried about being late, and because of everything going on, I didn’t even get a chance to eat breakfast. I made it to work on time, and I was grateful. When I returned on August 27th to pick up my bags, they were safe and sound. Again, I was met with kindness. A gentleman helped me with my bags and even assisted me with making another reservation for the night. And tonight, after another challenging day at work, I’m back again. Sometimes a hotel is more than a room. Sometimes it’s the place where you finally get a moment to breathe when life feels overwhelming. The room was clean, comfortable, and pleasant, but what stood out to me most was the people. To the staff who helped me over these past two days: thank you. You may not realize how much your patience, kindness, and willingness to help meant to me. You treated me like a person who mattered, not just another guest checking in. Room was clean, bed very comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Entrance to road was tricky but it’s away from highways and convenient to local restaurants and stores.
