  I don’t leave negative reviews but this is going to be an exception. I booked through a 3rd party and was charged accordingly, but this location sneakily charged me on top of this. They acknowledged the error, and promised a refund but didn’t follow through. I reached out to the hotel and their parent company, but zero follow thru by either. Here’s the really wild part - this has happened twice to me at this same location. And we aren’t talking a nominal amount of extra charges either. The first time it was > $200 and this time it was > $100. I’ve had to get this resolved via a credit card transaction dispute. I’ve been a regularly Holiday Inn Express customer for years and I can’t see me ever doing so again. Just a bizarre and inexplicable situation (or I suppose reoccurring situation) all around.

  The property is lovely but my friends and I were asked to leave in the middle of the night. I received a request to lower the volume of my music which I profusely apologized for, but less than 2 minutes later I received another knock on my door requesting that my party leave the premises. The hotel is under renovation so there are few rooms booked but there is no way the receptionist reached the front door and returned in the time between visits. Excellent property and the breakfast staff is 10 stars but the employee working the overnight shift from April 11-12 is problematic. My Trans friends noted uncomfortable stares as they tried to get into my room and less than 2 hours after their arrival we were asked to leave.

  People that work here are always nice. The rooms are always clean. They have breakfast downstairs. They have a small snack area where you can purchase drinks and snacks

  I had a very enjoyable 4-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express on Woodruff Rd while attending the NCAA Basketball Tournament at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. This hotel is only about 5-miles from the arena and is an easy and inexpensive Lyft/Uber ride away. I made my reservation through the Holiday Inn App so check in was quick and easy. Once in my room I found it to be very clean and well attended. The bed was well made and very comfortable allowing for very restful nights sleep. This hotel is locate well away from Woodruff Road so road noise was not an issue. Every employee that I encountered was extremely polite, professional and helpful. The ladies working the breakfast area were an absolute joy. Their cheerful personality ensured that you were going to start your day on a happy note. The did an outstanding job keeping the area clean and well stocked during the advertised time. There is plenty of free parking around this hotel. The WiFi was strong, dependable and work well throughout my stay. It should be noted that this hotel was under going major renovations but this did NOT cause any problem or disruption during my stay. This is an excellent hotel with and excellent staff and I will not hesitate to return whenever I am in the Greenville area.
