  Under significant construction. This was not disclosed at the time of booking otherwise I would not have stayed there. No pool, no gym, no breakfast, no nothing. The substitute for breakfast was a packaged muffin, banana and granola bar (pic). Had to switch rooms in the evening because there was a party below me blasting music, with kids playing the yelling game in my hallway (video). The shower literally turned itself to scolding hot, on its own (video). Barely got any sleep before my 5 AM departure. Make sure you keep your head up, because hallway lights are dangling from the ceiling at face level (pic). Construction or not, this was terrible. But rest assured, they hung signs saying, sorry for the inconvenience. So it's all good.

  By far one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed in! We were in Greenville for a family reunion and decided to stay here. Despite the renovations going on, we took a chance. The front desk is in a makeshift entrance but extremely friendly! Our room was fantastic and my family were asleep within minutes of our heads hitting the pillows! The room came with a couch/seating area. I liked the design, especially the corner cubicle area that had an outlet/USB which was perfect for charging our phones and watches. Water pressure in the shower and bathroom was beautiful and so relaxing after a long day of play. Breakfast was set up in one of the conference rooms. I didnt catch her name, but she was working the morning of July 4th-she takes serious PRIDE in breakfast and it was great. She made sure the pancake machine was working after it acted up so my kids could have their "pancake hotel" pancakes. She also was checking in with the other guests to make sure breakfast was up to standard. I saw her discussing with the manager to make sure maintenence would be coming in to replace the belt on the pancake machine. The hotel manager working was extremely friendly and professional. He had a full 3 piece suit and based on his conversations with staff and guests, he treats this hotel with precision and care. His attention to detail was great, and I appreciated the compliment of my Messi jersey. If we have another large family reunion, I will book here in a heartbeat. Highly highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express!

  Got some construction going on. Room was super updated but the bathroom door was improperly hung and wouldn’t close.
