- EPEmily Peterson4 days ago1.0Might as well sleep in your car. Rooms smell. Coffee machine didn't work. Floor was filthy- as in covered in hair, sticky, and had YEARS of built up guests' grime. A/C was strugglin and that is putting it nicely. The front desk staff was professional and did their best to accommodate, but Where is management? Fix this place or change it to a red roof inn and charge half the price.

I have stayed at numerous Holiday Inn Express properties over the years, and unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I have had. Upon check in which was at 3:09 and their specified time of check in is at 3:00, I feel the rooms should have been ready for my occupancy. I was assigned room 113 that was visibly dirty and had not been properly cleaned. I immediately returned to the front desk and was provided with room 300. Unfortunately, the second room was also not ready and still required cleaning. Even after the room was serviced, I found myself having to clean areas that had been overlooked by the housekeeping staff. As a guest, I expect a hotel room to be clean, sanitary, and ready for occupancy at check in, especially at a well known hotel brand. Having issues with not one, but two rooms was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Based on this experience, I will not return to this particular location. I sincerely hope management addresses the housekeeping and room readiness concerns so future guests do not have a similar experience.
