- MBMike BeeApr 10, 20261.0Booked our room Feb 17th, and our stay was to begin Aptil 7th. So. 7 weeks in advance. And when we arrived, they had cancelled our room that morning. My credit card had flagged the charge because there was an out of state charge and the Holiday Inn emailed me at 9:30 in the morning and gave me 30 minutes to respond. I was on an airplane traveling there, at the ti.e they sent the email. They could accommodate me, nor did they offer assistance at a sister Holiday Inn. Basically, said your room is cancelled and we have no other rooms available. We were in town for my son's Basic Combat Training graduation, so rooms weren't available anywhere, also because the Masters Gold Tournament was going on. So we FINALLY found a hotel miles and miles away, and paid an astronomically rate because of all the events going on and that day reservation. I would give them a zero star if I could, especially with the front desk staff, basically saying, oh well, sorry.... Horrible service
