  We had a great stay. We were in town for a Ft. Jackson boot camp graduation, so we were at the hotel 2 nights. Only 7 minutes of an easy, scenic drive from the hotel to Gate 4 entrance to the fort. Clean, nice, spacious room with super comfy beds. Nice morning breakfast with nice little bags to carry out breakfast on-the-go. The staff was friendly and check-in a breeze. There is a Waffle House right next door and plenty of other places around. We're happy we chose this Holiday Inn. Thanks!

  I stayed at this hotel while attending PME at Fort Jackson and had an extremely troubling experience that remains unresolved. During my stay, my room was serviced on June 15. and June 17. Under the hotel’s policy, housekeeping entered every five days because I generally declined routine cleaning services. After that, my AirPods went missing. The AirPods were later recovered, and I filed a police report regarding the incident. Shortly thereafter, I discovered that my gold necklace was also missing from my room and filed a second police report. The employee assigned to my room was Briana Gollson. The circumstances surrounding the disappearance of my property, combined with the recovery of my AirPods, raised serious concerns and prompted me to seek answers through both the hotel and law enforcement. What was most disappointing, however, was the hotel’s response. While attempting to obtain information related to these incidents, General Manager Susanne Borth-Dixon informed me that the hotel owner had instructed another manager, Laura, not to provide me with documents I had requested. I was also disturbed to learn that my personal phone number had been provided to a hotel employee without my knowledge or consent. As I continued pursuing the matter and requesting assistance from law enforcement, I was ultimately trespassed from the property. Throughout the process, I felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. I was also provided information regarding room access that I believe conflicted with other facts known to me. Unfortunately, I did not feel that either the hotel’s investigation or the law enforcement response provided meaningful resolution regarding the disappearance of my property. I strongly encourage travelers especially military personnel attending training at Fort Jackson to document valuables, keep receipts and photographs of important items, and secure personal property before allowing room access. If something goes missing, report it immediately and insist that all records, surveillance footage, and room-entry logs be preserved. They aren't going to give you and the police will not help. Hotels have a responsibility to protect guest privacy, safeguard guest property, preserve evidence when incidents are reported, and handle complaints professionally. Based on my experience, those expectations were not met.

  My husband booked us a getaway for Mother's Day weekend getaway and we arrived around late afternoon. We were greeted kindly by a very professional gentleman. The hotel was very clean and the atmosphere was well taken care. Our room was very nice and we enjoyed our stay very much.
