  Quick overnight stop. We stay in IHG hotels frequently. Room was nice but the breakfast was meh. I don't ever expect a top tier breakfast for free but this is the first one I've ever been to that had no pancake machine; we were told it was broken. That's my go-to if everything else is subpar. Not much else to choose from, no yogurts or hard boiled eggs in the fridge like normal and no one refilled the omelettes or sausage.

  Every year my sister and I come home to celebrate our mother’s birthday, and we always stay at this hotel. In the past, the service has been pretty good, but this stay was horrible — as you can see from the pictures. The floor was covered in gum, the floor tile was coming apart at the front door, and the tub and sink were both clogged. The bathroom floor was dirty at check-in, and there was peeling paint above the bed. I called numerous times before leaving and after checkout to speak with the manager, and as of today, August 25, 2026, I still have not received a callback. I also contacted the Corporate Office, who offered me 5,000 points, but no one has followed up to actually address my concerns. I’ve been a loyal member for years, and I don’t feel I’ve been treated the way a returning guest should be. It shouldn’t take this much effort to get a response from management. Someone from the Corporate Office needs to reach out and properly address this — points are not a substitute for accountability.

  My first day here, family has been here, “recommended” has pool, gym, breakfast, and the best costumer service from Patrick. :)

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Columbia NE – Fort Jackson for more than a month while traveling for work, so this hotel really became our home away from home for quite some time. Overall, we had a very good experience. The rooms were comfortable, everything worked well, and we had everything we needed for such a long stay. When you're staying somewhere for more than a month, you start to appreciate things that might not be as important during a normal two- or three-night hotel stay. One thing we especially appreciated was having access to the washing machine and dryer. Being able to do our laundry directly at the hotel made our long business stay much easier and more comfortable. The location was also very convenient for us, and having Texas Roadhouse basically right next door certainly didn't hurt! 😄 But one person deserves a special mention: KD! She was definitely one of the people who made our long stay more enjoyable. She was always helpful and friendly, but what we appreciated most was her personality. We had a lot of laughs with her, and she always seemed to have a funny comment or a good joke ready. After staying for such a long time, these small interactions really make a difference and make you feel much more at home. KD is a fantastic employee and exactly the kind of person you remember after a trip. Friendly, helpful, relaxed, funny and genuine. Unfortunately, employees like her are not something you find everywhere anymore, so we really hope the hotel knows what a great team member they have! After more than a month here, we can definitely give this hotel 5 stars. Thank you for making our long business stay a pleasant one – and special greetings from Austria to KD!

  The room smelt foul like someone had just used the bathroom , the ac leaked , I had to slam my door to close it , the cups for the coffee machine were open but not used.. still would've liked for them to have been changed ! Oh and there's a $75 deposit .. i paid for the hotel with one card online & charged a different card for the deposit ... it took $90... I checked out on August 1st & I have yet to receive my deposit ...
