Experience the Beauty of The Holy City on a Sandlapper Water Tours Sunset Cruise.
Breathe in the salty sea air while cruising along Charleston’s gorgeous waterways on our ever-popular Charleston Sunset Cruise. Breathtaking views of the sunset-silhouetted skyline are complemented by the Lowcountry’s abundant wildlife as dolphins and birds come out to play during “bluing hour”. It’s an experience you’ll never forget.
Experience Charleston’s Wildlife & Explore Our Barrier Islands
Travel through the Charleston Harbor and past historic landmarks on the way to the uninhabited Morris Island. In addition to marine animals, the Lowcountry waterways are home to many interesting species of birds including Great Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets, Eastern Brown Pelicans, and Least Terns. Experience these and other unique wildlife in their natural habitat.
During a serene coastal cruise, our crew will pull crab pots full of exceptional gifts from the sea to add to our onboard “touch tank”. Licensed naturalists will explore the Morris Island beach with you and point out the fascinating sea life that is abundant in Charleston’s estuaries. Spend a relaxing afternoon in the salty air, collect shells, and discover the wild side of the Charleston waters.
Dolphins Come Out to Play
Our local bottlenose dolphins are friendly and playful and they often put on a show for cruising boats. Watch them frolic in the creeks and the harbor with the beautiful backdrop of a majestic Charleston sunset. Of course, we can’t guarantee that you’ll see dolphins, but they usually show up to see the visitors.

Mike & Dallas were great 'mates' on our first evening in town. Nice to get a grip on Charleston's size and geo of sites we planned to see as an overview. Very small group, 20 ish, easy to ask/answer questions, meet other tourists, move around the boat to get pictures. Saw lots of dolphins, pelicans, historic sites, ships & homes. Would recommend it. Cloudy, so minimal sunset skies...much cooler on the water during heatwave!

Morris Island was awesome with good shell and shark tooth hunting. Water felt great for us and our 4 yr olds. They had a blast and wanted to stay in the water longer!!
Enjoyed the touch tank and the kids “drove “ the boat! Also nice having snacks and drinks onboard.
Overall a very good morning!!

We did a cruise with Captain Robbie as a spur of the moment decision, and it made our entire night. We saw dolphins, learned cool boat facts, and learned more about the city from someone who had a lot of background in the subject. Also, if you’re a fan of outer banks, this is probably the tour for you (we also got a southern charm reference, so I thought that was fun).
