I can’t say enough great things about my experience, especially thanks to Callie and Ryan! Before I even arrived, Callie went completely above and beyond—she patiently answered all of my questions and gave me such thoughtful, detailed advice for my concert stay. It made a huge difference in planning my trip and took so much stress off my plate. She truly cared about making sure everything went smoothly, which is rare and so appreciated. Getting to meet her in person was the cherry on top—she’s just as kind and helpful face-to-face! Ryan was also fantastic during check-in. She was friendly, efficient, and made the whole arrival process easy and welcoming after a long day of travel. Between the outstanding customer service and the genuine care from the staff, this stay exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone—especially if you’re in town for an event or concert!

Good hotel, not close to interstate 85 but located close to other things in Anderson.

If nothing bad happens, then this would be a 4 star experience. The location was convenient, there was plenty of parking, both the room and property were clean enough for the price, and the staff were all nice. My 3 star concern is because of the hotel's extremely poor fire warning system. I don't care about why the fire alarm went off during our stay. What I am concerned about instead is the lack of it acting as an effective alarm device to guests. From inside the room, the fire alarm (there seemed to be only two per floor, one at the very end of each hallway) sounded like it was a vaccuum cleaner with something rattling inside the motor, muffled heavily by distance and the walls. There was zero indicator of an alarm inside the room itself and a lot of internal debate happened between us about what the very faint buzzing sound was. The only reason we eventually realized that it was a fire alarm was because we eventually investigated into the hallway out of curiosity about why housekeeping never turned their "vacuum cleaner" off and then saw the light at the end of the hallway. That curiosity about the very faint sound only happened because it was daytime. The sound was NOT loud enough inside the room to have been able to wake us if it had been the middle of the night. The experience of trying to evacuate down flights of stairs with a mobility disabled person from the very top floor was horrid. By the time we got outside, the fire truck was already parked and firefighters were already walking around the hotel entrance hundreds of feet away. I don't care that we went thru all of that over "nothing" this time. Nor do I care much that no minimum wage employee ever checked in with us nor said a word about it despite our reservation lasting further nights with them. What I care instead about is that we could have died in an actual fire due to how incredibly weak the installed equipment was about the fact that an alarm was sounding! Supposedly, the alarm even briefly sounded again on another day when we were there and I never even heard it! That corner-cutting, cost-saving decision about what and how many alarm equipment devices they bought/installed falls squarly on the owners of this chain hotel themselves. That lack of concern from the very top about guest safety makes me feel seriously conflicted about whether I would ever stay at this hotel again.

Located in a busy area with access to many restaurants, grocery stores, clothes. Hotel was maintained and staff was pleasant. We were greeted kindly. Things seemed to be in good working order and condition. It's definitely a high volume hotel. We stayed on a Saturday and although it was very busy noise was manageable and mildly if at all bothersome. The television cable wasn't great and I forgot to put a sign on the door and room service knocked at 8am. Small refrigerator no microwave in our room. Double queen beds. My daughter says the mattress was more comfortable than the more expensive option we regularly use. I agree.

I had a really bad experience at the Holiday Inn in Anderson, SC. My stay started off normal—I always check the bed for bugs when I arrive, and everything seemed fine at first. But after being in the room for a few hours, things took a turn. As soon as I turned the lights off, roaches started coming out. While I was laying in bed, I noticed a large roach crawling toward my face. I jumped up immediately and went downstairs to report it. The front desk employee offered to switch my room from 325 to 302 and told me to pack my things. At first, I thought maybe it was just bad luck and one random roach, but when I went back to gather my belongings, I found more. There was one in the bathroom, one under the pillow on the bed, and another on the headboard. That’s when I realized this wasn’t a one-off issue. I declined the room change and left the hotel entirely to stay somewhere else. This was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here.
