I genuinely would **NOT recommend staying at this hotel.** This was one of the worst and least accommodating hotel experiences I’ve had.
Let me start from the beginning. When my coworker and I arrived Tuesday around 3–4 PM, the woman working the front desk was extremely unprofessional. There was no greeting or welcome whatsoever. She had a cigarette sitting right in front of her at the desk and simply asked us for our IDs and credit cards.
We were also told that even though we had **booked king rooms in advance**, we might end up with two queens because they were sold out of kings. What is the point of booking a specific room in advance if the hotel isn't going to honor the reservation?
Then I got to my room and discovered that **the bathroom was dirty.** When I brought it to the staff's attention, I was told they were fully booked and couldn't relocate me, and that I would have to wait for housekeeping the following day. After an entire day of traveling, I simply wanted to take a shower. Instead, I had to **go out and buy cleaning supplies and clean the hotel bathroom myself.** Completely unacceptable.
But somehow, it got worse.
At approximately **2 AM, the fire alarm went off**, waking both me and my coworker out of our sleep and causing us to wake up in a panic—only for it to be a false alarm. Then **it happened AGAIN the next day.**
When I spoke with the man at the front desk the following morning, he told me this happens because **the building is old.** If this is a KNOWN issue, why aren't guests being informed? And more importantly, why wasn't it addressed immediately after the first false alarm? Only after I spoke with him did he proceed to call someone about getting the sensors fixed. That should have been handled after the FIRST incident, not after guests had their sleep interrupted multiple times.
My coworker also **found a bug on her bed**, and when she reported it, the response was that it was "just a stink bug." I DON'T CARE WHAT KIND OF BUG IT WAS. There should not be bugs on the bed in a hotel room, and dismissing the concern instead of addressing it only made the experience worse.
And here's what makes the whole "we're fully booked" situation even more frustrating: **after we came back from work, they were suddenly able to move my coworker into another room because of the bug.** I'm glad she was eventually relocated, but apparently a room became available despite us repeatedly being told the hotel was completely booked. Meanwhile, I had already been told there was nowhere to move me when my bathroom was dirty, leaving me to purchase cleaning supplies and clean it myself.
Between the dirty bathroom, having to purchase supplies and clean my own room, the unprofessional check-in experience, the room reservation issue, bugs, repeated false fire alarms in the middle of the night, and the staff's overall lack of concern, this stay was absolutely terrible.
The fire alarms alone are enough for me to say **DO NOT STAY HERE.** Being jolted awake at 2 AM in a panic thinking there may be an actual emergency, only to find out this is apparently a known problem, is ridiculous.
**Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.**

Came to stay for work and this hotel was fantastic! Both Alicia and Pam at the front desk are so professional, and the bartenders at the hotel bar kept me sane after some long days. Would definitely stay again!!

Your website, Google listing, Apple Maps listing, corporate website, travel sites such as TripAdvisor, and even the signs posted on the property all clearly state that this location is pet-friendly. However, when my co-driver and I attempted to book a room while traveling with a dog, the front-desk employee flatly refused us, stating, “No pets.”
This is unacceptable and extremely misleading. Blackout Transport relies on accurate information when arranging accommodations for its drivers. If this property does not allow pets, that policy must be corrected immediately across every platform and on-site signage. If pets are allowed, staff should be properly informed and held accountable for enforcing the stated policy consistently.

The breakfast was on point and coffee was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were very helpful with anything that was needed. Restaurants were everywhere very convenient if you wanted to eat out. This location you can't go wrong. Super convenient for every need. I enjoyed my stay and definitely with return for future endeavors.
