From start to finish I was met with disappointment. Checking in was a struggle as the room was not ready when I arrived. When I did get checked in I was placed in a room that did not match my accommodation requests at all. I understand it isn’t always possible but it was like they tried to find the polar opposite. There was also a mistake made during check in that resulted in my card having 3 separate charges of over $300 (this has since been resolved). Spent some time in the crossings bar, where service was lackluster with staff either sitting down or disappearing. I had to go find the bartender in order to pay my bill. I also tried to place an order with the restaurant at 10pm, but was told that they would not take my order as it was closing soon (listed as open until 11pm). Please note that I was not trying to order room service which does end at 10pm, but simply place an order and go grab it from the bar. No dice. From here things only got worse. I was told while checking in that their other bar (Alfred’s) would be open until 2am on weekend nights. Being here for a wedding celebration I was excited there would be a place for everyone to gather and enjoy themselves without bothering those in their rooms trying to sleep. Got there around 12am to find the place buzzing, although the bartenders appeared upset at this, flustered by the crowd and snippy. Imagine my disappointment when they started shutting down and had security kick everyone out (aggressively) promptly at 1:05am, saying they were locking the doors. Nobody was ready to call it a night except for the staff, so we made for the happy couple’s suite to continue enjoying ourselves. Not long after getting to the room security came knocking. We were not playing loud music or screaming, just a group of friends talking in their hotel room. Rather than deescalating things they came with aggression, threatening removal if they returned. Security did return, police in tow and ended up removing the couple we were all there celebrating, on their wedding night. This hotel is so focused on its amenities and venue capabilities that it completely disregarded the hospitality aspect of servicing guests. Staff was rude on multiple occasions, whether out of malice, apathy, or stupidity. Security was a joke and had no redeeming aspects, just a bunch of discourteous and boorish people trying to flex the little power they have in order to feel big. As someone who has worked in the service industry for over a decade I am appalled at how this place was operated top to bottom. If you’re looking to book somewhere in the Warwick area and you have some self respect I’d suggest booking elsewhere. At its best this is a mid 3-star hotel at 4-star pricing, at its worst you’d be better off at a Motel 6.

Worst staff of any hotel I’ve ever been to. Like everyone is saying you’re more likely to get kicked out if you an event, especially a wedding. If you want to know who it is choosing to kick everyone out it’s some security guard named “Will”, the nicest way to put it is he has a ratty look with two huge clear plates on his face for glasses. Can’t believe he still works there. Bad place to stay and very unprofessional. Will call and ask to see the call logs for the complaints they claimed to have used to kick out bride and groom and edit if they have the courage to provide them.

I’m sure the local police love getting calls from the night manager “Will” to come kick out a bride and groom on their wedding night. Beware of “Will” and any interaction with him, he is not a person of reason but is one to act in spite. He will escalate things beyond repair and will seek out any reason to cause trouble with you and your group. If you plan on having your wedding party stay here, seriously reconsider.

We were absolutely impressed by this wonderful hotel! After we were assigned an unsatisfactory room, Jon, the manager, went above and beyond to make things right. He promptly moved us to a much better room, refunded the first night’s stay, and even provided complimentary drink vouchers. His professionalism and exceptional customer service truly made a difference. The hotel’s lunch was also excellent, and Melanie provided outstanding service. She was warm, attentive, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to Jon, Melanie, and the entire team for turning our stay into such a positive experience. We would happily stay here again!

I booked through Priceline. The morning of my trip my airline delayed my connecting flight by 5 hours. I wanted to change my flight to the next day since I have a little kid & Priceline said if the hotel agreed they would cancel the first night’s stay. Priceline called the hotel & the front desk said they wouldn’t let me cancel the first night. This is the first time I’ve ever had a hotel not be flexible so in the future I’ll book travel insurance. I was told the hotel would still pick me up from the shuttle when I landed. I decided to continue to travel that day since I was paying for that night at the hotel & it’s pricey. After 13 hours of traveling (with the 5 hour layover) we landed at 2am & I called for the shuttle. I was told another guest was on the same airplane & they were already on the way to the airport. When I got to the shuttle pick up it had already left. I called the front desk & they said the other hotel guests had to get to the hotel right away so they couldn’t wait for my son & I to walk over. So we had to wait for the shuttle to drive to the hotel & then come back & get us. I have no clue why those guests were more important than a freaking child who is exhausted. I was also told later that if I had booked directly with the hotel they would have let me cancel the first night’s stay. This makes no sense to me since Priceline called to let them know the circumstances & asked if I could cancel one night. The hotel itself is okay. The pool is indoors but freezing even though it’s supposed to be heated. We didn’t check out the restaurant but they have a coffee shop with Starbucks & the employee who works there is so sweet. The location wasn’t very walkable but we were able to Uber around. All & all I wouldn’t book here again. I get it’s a business, but a little compassion would have been nice. Refusing to let me cancel the first night & then also making us sit there and wait for the shuttle just really left me with a sour feeling.
