  First room smelled so bad we had to move, second room has a shower that doesn't get hot, broken drawers, LUMPY UNCOMFORTABLE BED(found a spider in it) fell out of the bed because the topper I assume was so uneven , only one remote for 2 TVs, HOUSEKEEPING ENTERED OUR ROOM AT 9:40 waking us before checkout WITH DO NOT DISTURB SIGN ON DOOR, after lightly knocking with key card decided to ENTER.

  We spent a night here as part of a family trip and the personnel was very accommodating. The air conditioning unit in the room initially assigned to us was making a whistling noise that we noticed when we first entered, and we were immediately assigned another room although it was weekend and the hotel was booked solid. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was very good.

  THE DELETE REAL REVIEWS I would not recommend staying at this Holiday Inn Express. The condition of the hotel was extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable. When I first arrived, the first room I was offered had a very strong mold smell. I immediately had a reaction to the odor and requested another room. I was then given another room of the same type, but that room had an overwhelming smell of urine. The overall condition of the property was so poor that it felt more like an abandoned building or even a porta potty than a hotel. I also had an extremely frustrating experience with the front desk. Front Desk told me that my room had been upgraded, but that was not the case. He later communicated to Expedia that I had been upgraded when I had not been. I found this to be extremely misleading and unprofessional. Because of the condition of the hotel, I immediately checked out. Despite the circumstances, Front Desk refused to provide a refund. I also found it very concerning that the hotel would expect a guest to remain in a room with such a strong urine odor after already having to leave the first room because of the smell of mold. I have stayed at Holiday Inn properties before, but this experience was completely unacceptable and far below the standards I would expect from IHG. I am requesting that IHG investigate this property, the condition of the rooms, and how my complaint and refund request were handled.

  I stay at IHG hotels about 70 nights a year for work, so have seen many dozens of them. This is in the running for the best I've ever stayed at. The a/c was consistent and had no weird rattles. The beds were clean and they had the higher end down pillows. The shower was great. I got free cookies upon arrival. It's not right next to a loud highway. They opted for the bigger mini-fridges. The room doors don't slam shut. The elevator is smooth and efficient. The room was actually dark - I didn't have to unplug/cover a bunch of stuff with LED lights or put a towel at the base of the door. And they don't have the dumb, insanely slow automated coffee makers that other Holiday Inns are switching to! My only complaint is that it's the first Holiday Inn I've ever been to that didn't have the oatmeal vat at breakfast, but between the good old coffee dispensers, the best potatoes I've had at an IHG location, and Greek yogurt, I'll let that slide. I also wish breakfast started earlier, but I can say that about most hotels.

  Absolutely terrible experience. The first room I was given had a strong mold-like smell that immediately caused a reaction. I brought this to Ali’s attention and was moved to another room, but the second room had an extremely strong smell of urine. What makes this even more frustrating is that Ali told Expedia that I had been upgraded, which is simply not true. I was not upgraded; I was moved to another room of the same type that also had an unacceptable odor. Despite the condition of the hotel, Ali has refused to provide a refund. The conditions were so bad that they were more comparable to an abandoned building or a porta potty than a hotel room. I checked in and immediately had to leave because the conditions were completely unacceptable. This hotel might be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, and easily the worst Holiday Inn Express I’ve seen in ages. They don’t follow any of the brand standards at all. I would strongly caution anyone against staying here. The condition of the rooms, the strong odors, and the way my complaint and refund request were handled were extremely disappointing.
