  We had such a lovely experience staying at Francis Malbone house! The home was historic and quaint with well-kept rooms and soft beds. Breakfast was delicious each morning and server Sue was such a gem. Daily tea service was cozy and snacks were great. Location couldn't be beat. Would absolutely come back again in a heartbeat!

  The Francis Malbone House is unlike any hotel stay I've experienced. "Staff" doesn't feel like the right word for the people who work there. From the moment you walk through the front door, you're welcomed like family of a close friend. Every interaction, from the initial property tour to the chef-prepared bites during tea time, to the simple pleasure of choosing between one sweet or one savory breakfast, reflects genuine warmth and care. A stay here will leave you craving that same intimacy and human connection wherever you travel next.

  Amazing b&b in an even better location! The staff was so kind and welcoming, especially the lady who serves breakfast every morning. I think she's the highlight of many people's stay! The rooms are so cozy and the courtyard is perfection. We would definitely stay here again!

  Fantastic stay! This centrally located inn has all the old world charm without sacrificing convenience. The property is gorgeous and clean, with period decor and art and a tranquil garden. The staff are so sweet and enthusiastic! They serve a delicious breakfast and afternoon tea. It’s surrounded by shops and restaurants, and the wharf is right down the street. I can’t wait to visit again!

  The breakfast here is truly gourmet. The chef clearly knows food. It can be served in a gorgous courtyard with mature wisteria. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. I especially liked the woman in charge of the breakfast, who worked hard to make sure everyone was happy. The rooms are small, as expected in a converted antique house. The linens were high quality. The only thing lacking was the TV service. only basic cable, and no access to Netflix etc like most hotels are now offering. location is great and it is suprizing quiet given that it is in the tourist district.
