  Class. A really wonderful, classy stay. Staying here is like getting a warm hug and then being handed a glass of champagne and a plate of delicious cookies. The staff are fantastic, from the front desk to Sue who runs the breakfast experience and the cleaning staff. The rooms are elegant, quiet and charming. Location superb, and the off street parking is a big help. Cannot recommend FMH enough.

  I stayed at Francis Malbone House for a mom night away and it was exactly what I needed. The whole place was spotless and just felt really calm and well taken care of. It’s in downtown Newport which is so convenient, but somehow it still felt quiet and tucked away. Not a big, busy hotel vibe at all which was perfect for a little reset. The extras were such a nice touch too, breakfast, tea and snacks. The breakfast was fantastic. My room was cozy and comfortable, and everything felt super clean and thoughtfully done. The staff was so friendly, gave me a little tour and were incredibly helpful. Also a huge plus that parking is included. Overall it was the perfect peaceful escape for a night away. I’d absolutely go back.

  My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay in Newport and stayed at the Francis Malbone for the first time. We absolutely loved it! Everything from the room, the service, the breakfasts, the location and most of all the people were fantastic! Everyone was so very helpful and friendly. Sue serving our breakfast was a absolute gem and we felt like friends in the short time we were there. She was just great! We definitely will be back again!

  Great location, surpassed expectations. Staff was friendly, professional, and personable. Enjoyed the afternoon tea breakfast was more than we thought. Had the Newport room with a fireplace and tub, which was exceptional.
