  Great rooms. Clean. Friendly staff. Greeted overtime we came in. Only issue i have is there is only one way into the parking lot and 1 way out, if it didn't have the barrier in the middle it might be better.

  The room was well setup for someone who was looking to be self efficient for extended stays, however the room service was very lackluster. The grout in the shower of room 104 needed repair, I informed the lady at the front desk that there was no hot water and she informed me that they were working on the pipes. That was last night, there was still no hot water in the morning. The hotel failed to stock multiple things in the room, for example toilet paper. There were stains on the bedsheets, and the tables on the bedside were dusty and dirty. There was water damage on the ceiling, which seems to have been there for a while now. The manager was very kind and offered us water when we showed up early and our room was still being worked on by room service, which was appreciated but it was the best thing about the hotel, besides having a place to sleep for the night. Things were not stocked in general, like milk for the free coffee in the lobby, as well at the giant creamer bottles which take about 30 seconds to change out. It sounded like our door was constantly having someone try to open the door to see if there was an opportunity if nobody was there. A good thing I will say is that the hotel is very quiet and secluded. I didn’t see more that 3 guests in the hotel at a time, everyone was to themselves. Overall poor experience and only grateful for the water and the fact I stayed for the night with my girlfriend.

  I stayed at Candlewood Suites York during a long-term work assignment and have returned multiple times since because of how great my experience was. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about this place. Being away from home for work was very difficult, but Candlewood made the transition so much easier. The rooms were always clean, the bed was comfortable and having everything included like dishes, cookware, cutlery and soap made it feel much more like home instead of just another hotel stay. What really makes this place special though is the people. Over time, this stopped feeling like just a hotel and genuinely became a home away from home for me. The culture here is something you don’t come across often anymore. Every single staff member I interacted with was caring and always willing to help. From the moment I walked in, Brittany made me feel comfortable right away. Throughout my stay, she was always there to help whenever I needed anything, whether it was around the hotel or even helping me figure my way around York. One thing I’ll always appreciate was the staff giving me and a friend from work tickets to the York Fair which we thoroughly enjoyed. I also remember a time when I forgot my laundry and Noah (on night shift) put it safely on the side for me to collect in the morning. It’s small gestures like that that really show how much they care about their guests. To Brittany, Noah, Jose, Patricia and Chrissy, thank you for making York feel like home and for creating memories and friendships I’ll always cherish. Your hospitality goes beyond words.
