  Very disappointed with how I was treated at this hotel. The bathroom in our room was extremely small and unsafe for my needs, so I requested an ADA accommodation. I was told there were no ADA rooms available until the day I was checking out. When I spoke with the general manager, instead of trying to help, she was rude, dismissive, and argumentative. I was blamed for not requesting an ADA room ahead of time, even though I had never stayed at this property before and had no way of knowing how inaccessible the room would be. I explained this was the first time in my life I have ever had to request an ADA accommodation, and instead of being treated with understanding, I was made to feel embarrassed and uncomfortable for even asking. To make matters worse, I was checked out of my room without confirmation simply for requesting an ADA bathroom, leaving me scrambling to figure out what to do next. IHG Guest Relations had to step in and open a complaint case after they were unable to find another nearby hotel with availability. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic customer service from multiple staff members was unacceptable. I would strongly recommend anyone with mobility issues or disabilities avoid this property. To clarify, this was not simply a request for a different “room type.” The bathroom layout in the assigned room was extremely tight and unsafe for my physical limitations. While attempting to maneuver around the toilet and close the bathroom door, I did fall. As I stated during my stay, this was the first time in my life I have ever needed to request an ADA accommodation at a hotel. Continuing to frame the situation as my fault for not reserving an ADA room in advance ignores the fact that the request came after a fall and safety concern inside the assigned room. I requested an ADA-accessible bathroom only after discovering the issue once already inside the room and was informed no ADA room would be available until the day of checkout. I also did not request to be checked out at that time. I asked whether, if I decided to leave early due to the safety issue, the unused nights would be refunded. Shortly afterward, you checked us out without any further discussion or confirmation from me. This all occurred after requesting an ADA room for a safety issue following a fall. My concerns throughout this situation were specifically related to accessibility and safety after the fall. I respectfully disagree with the characterization of events provided in the hotels response.

  Worst costumer service ever.. lies all lies never going there again.. so disappointing and people were so dishonest and disrespectful.. when my boyfriend and I went there.. he got one night and I got one night.. well they charged him double and took money out on my card .. when it was suppose to be his card one night and mine another.. they screwed up royally and blamed it on us .. this place is a joke

  This is one of the easiest places to stay in Wyomissing and the prices are always reasonable. I would stay here again. The breakfast is always pretty good

  Friendly staff & reasonable price for weekend and breakfast amazing Also more importantly the windows room we can open 2" so amazing get fresh air circulation.

  This Holiday Inn Express is FAR above the average one I have ever stayed in. I travel a lot for work and this 4 day stay was a much more pleasurable experience than most any I have had with the IHG Group. This experience and being treated so well was all due to Charles. Charles is the night manager so he was responsible for my easy check in plus I spoke to him in the mornings prior to him leaving work at 7am. He is the absolute nicest, most caring, and helpful front desk manager of all time. He even went so far as to tell me the breakfast menu with biscuits and gravy was the next day after my check in! This kind of customer service is what makes a stay nice! In addition, the room was EXTREMELY clean and the king suite has a private bedroom with a door. This Hotel has definitely been updated in the last year or so. The bathroom, the sink, the mini bar, and tile were new looking and fresh. 5 stars for this place and Charles, if you get to meet him, he is very nice and will help with any questions you may have. Ohh, the rates are affordable as well! But being clean takes the cake!
