If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would.
The entire experience was a complete disaster from start to finish. The hotel’s website and all booking documentation clearly state that the minimum check-in age is 18. Based on that information, I prepaid for my room. Upon arrival, however, I was suddenly told by the front desk that the minimum age was actually 21 and that I would not be allowed to check in.
Rather than attempting to resolve a problem that was entirely created by the hotel’s own inaccurate information, the staff seemed determined to make the situation as difficult as possible. The manager, Neha Shah, refused to speak with us for nearly 30 minutes while we repeatedly requested assistance. When she finally got on the phone, she immediately informed me that speaking with me was a “courtesy” and then repeatedly interrupted me every time I tried to explain the situation. Instead of addressing the hotel’s misleading policies, she continuously talked over me, repeating “ma’am” and insisting that the check-in age was 21 before ultimately deciding to deny me the room I had already paid for.
The front desk employee, Yash, was equally unhelpful. After I contacted corporate, they confirmed that the minimum check-in age is, in fact, 18. Corporate then attempted to contact the hotel directly, but the front desk simply would not answer their calls. Even after being shown the hotel’s own website stating the minimum age requirement was 18, Yash argued that it must be a “miscommunication” while still refusing to honor the reservation.
At no point did anyone offer a solution, an explanation, or even basic customer service. Instead, I was met with hostility, excuses, and complete indifference. The two front desk employees—Yash and another employee who appeared unprofessional and was wearing a dirty T-shirt—made no effort whatsoever to correct the hotel’s mistake or assist a paying guest.
This hotel took my money, ignored its own published policies, refused to cooperate with corporate, and treated me with disrespect throughout the entire process. If this is how they handle a straightforward reservation issue, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.
