  Super friendly staff! We stayed for two nights while hiking and fishing a few spots around the area. Convient location, breakfast was always hot ready and attended. The rooms was clean and comfortable.

  DO NOT stay at the Poconos Holiday Inn. My family had an absolutely traumatic experience here. My grandmother was suffering from internal bleeding and needed immediate help, and the hotel staff would not allow my mother into the room to assist her during the emergency. It was horrifying and completely unacceptable. On top of that, the condition of the hotel was disgusting — there was visible mold inside the refrigerator in our room. The entire stay was stressful from beginning to end. Employees were slamming doors loudly throughout the night, making it impossible to rest, and then completely gaslighted us about it afterward by acting like it never happened. I am an avid traveler, and I have never in my life stayed somewhere this terrible. Between the lack of cleanliness, the noise, the dismissive treatment from staff, and the complete absence of compassion during a medical emergency, this was one of the worst hotel experiences our family has ever had. This is a terrible hotel and nobody should stay here.

  Will do a longer review when back home, but this hotel is AMAZING. Staff are fantastic, breakfast was more varied than many other places and the rooms were spacious and clean. 5 stars!

  Our room was great, we were upgraded to a suite upon check in to be closer to our family that was also staying. The room was clean, spacious and overall great. Bed was comfortable, loved that the room actually cooled down when you set the temperature. My only thing was check out was not until 11 but at 830 we had house keeping start coming in with only a slight knock,we were awake so had time to react and respond but if we had not been I would’ve been way more upset. I would say I wish they had a lamp in the couch area of the suite, we had to remove the desk lamp and plug it in next to the couch for lighting while playing board games with our family. The location is decent,there’s not much around but it’s right next to the turnpike which is great for traveling to the nearby towns/cities. I’d stay here again if i was going to be doing the nearby outdoor & hiking activities more than what our trip was planned for but it worked out great for us as we drove back and forth from Allentown. I personally wouldn’t recommend breakfast, i’d go next door to Mcdonald’s but that’s personal preference. The staff was great, loved being able to text the front desk for easy assistance.
