- ALAbigail Laufer6 days ago4.0Nice hotel with excellent pool and large rooms. But the hotel needs to upgrade the ourlets in the rooms (almost none), the tv is too small (easy to get larger one) and the bathtub which is just a surround is ancient with grimy uncleanable surfaces.

Today my family and I went to use the pool again in the experience was absolutely night and day. Previously the staff seemed cold and distant except for one lady at the pool. This time it was beyond exceptional. The ladies at the front desk were so kind and they even let us borrow an umbrella because it was raining when we left. The young lady who was attending the pool today was so sweet and friendly towards my family. It is to be noted that the pool is absolutely gorgeous and was a great temperature. The last time we were here the jacuzzi only ran for 10 minutes and was maybe 80 to 90°. This time however the jacuzzi would stay on if you turned it on and it was 103° exactly, absolutely incredible and relaxing. The pool has beautiful skylights built into the ceiling as well as windows to see main street. We are staying at this sister hotel The Penn Wells, So I cannot comment on the rooms in this place because I have never been in but I can only assume that they are very nice. The interior lobby is very beautiful and it's very modern, we didn't stay here because we wanted the classic 1800s to early 1900s vibe that is extremely present in the Penn Wells Hotel. I do recommend this hotel to anybody looking for the same service as the sister Hotel but just with more modern amenities and appearances.
