  Not a great place to stay. We were not given the room we had booked well in advance. The room wasn't exactly clean. The bathroom door didn't close. We ran out of toilet paper and soap on the first night. The hallways kind of smelled musty.

  On the evening of July 11, I arrived after already paying for and receiving confirmation of my reservation through Priceline. The front desk receptionist seemed frustrated and came across as rude while telling me they had no rooms available. Rather than argue, I booked and paid for another hotel. It’s now been over a week, and Priceline has been trying to contact the hotel to process my refund, but they keep being told they’re waiting for a supervisor who is never available. Very disappointing customer service from start to finish.

  We stayed for a total of 10 days. We wanted the first floor but they gave us the fourth floor and was going to put us on the first when one came available, Nine days later we are still on the fourth floor. HOT WATER We had to wait a minimum of 4 minutes to get hot water. We did have maintainence come look at it but didn't get any results. AC We never knew what noise was going to come from it. sometimes it sounded like a train beginning its trek up a hill. FREEZER fan was loud at times. GARBAGE DISPOSAL had to be changed because it leaked in the cupboard. TV was terrible as far as blurry and faded in and out with the picture brightness. ICE MACHINE. What Ice machine? The machine was OUT OF ORDER the 10 days we were here. For the past five years we stayed here, but this will be our last time staying at Candlewood in Sayre.

  All of the faucets in our room were broken. The fan in the bathroom also didn't work and the shower was covered in someone else's hair. The dishwasher was left full of dirty dishes upon arrival. Our bedding and towels smelled like dirt and rust and the front desk would not give us new bedding. At 9:00 in the morning someone from housekeeping (we think) took it upon herself to enter our room without knocking. We were changing when she entered the room. Check out is at 12:00 so I have no idea why someone was coming to clean our room. The girl at the desk was complaining to other members of our travel party in a different room that they’re incredibly understaffed and super far behind on housekeeping tasks, other members also had their room sold to someone else before we got to the hotel and they ended up getting keys to a room with another family inside.
