  Photos lie. Not what your think when you arrive. Antiquated and stink. Friendly staff so far. Definitely need an updated and refresh. Quick one night, anything over that pay the additional for better.

  1 star. We were put in room 103 even though the door did not lock. Staff told us the lock had been broken for about a year and that they still rented the room because they could charge the higher weekend rate. They promised someone would check it the next morning, but nobody ever came. Knowingly putting guests in an unsecured room is dangerous and completely unacceptable.

  A very nice and helpful front Desk crew! We got here got here about 45 minutes before our Check In and they got us in our room in about 5 minutes after a very long Flight! I will definitely stay here again! ;-)

  This hotel had a lower rate than all the others do I thought I’d give it a try. The room was ok — the furniture was dinged up but the bathroom was quite good. Also the room had a safe, which was a nice feature. Actually the safe was more of a necessity because the two doors to the parking lot were stuck open, so anyone could walk in. A fussier gripe I had was that the suitcase stand was wedged in the room’s closet, and it could not be removed because of the closet’s sliding doors … rendering it pretty much useless. I went to the front desk to complain and I got the two standard replies that I get at every hotel I’ve stayed out in the Reading area: 1. “You need to talk to my manager … but he’s not working today,” and … 2. “I think that’s a requirement from Best Western” (meaning he blamed it on their corporate office) I’m pretty sure the real reason was they didn’t want people stealing luggage stands. Why is it that hotels in the Reading area only have staff members who have no agency, no ability to take independent action? Anyway as cheap hotels went, this one wasn’t awful as long as you can handle the utter lack of security.

  Lisa and Janel were Amazing. Although I thought Lisa was about to pass out it was so HOT IN THE LOBBY. THTS UNEXCUSEABLE. THE ROOM HAD BLACK STUFF IN THE SINK, WATER BETWEEN THE TOLIET AND SINK AREA , CEILING PEILING AND BROWN. The soap was open used. IM ASHAMED THEIR BEST WESTERN HAS A OWNER WHO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE ROONS , EMPLOYEES AND OUTSIDE UP KEEP. LOBBY WAS BLISTERING ALL DAY. UNBELIEVABLY RUDE OF THE OWNER NOT TO KEEP TJEIR EMPLOYEES SAFE. SIDE DOOR TO BUILDING BROKEN ANYONE CAN JUST WALK IN. NOT SAFE. LISA AND JANEL TIRED TO MADE IT COMFORTABLE FOR GUEST EXPERIENCE.
