This hotel was wonderful! Pet friendly with lots of grassy areas outside which is such a plus when traveling with a pet. The hotel was new, clean and the staff were friendly and so helpful! We only had a molten cake dessert from the local restaurant ELIZA and it was fantastic, unfortunately they were too busy for breakfast in the morning to accommodate us. If we stayed in Pittsburgh again we’d absolutely stay here!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Lauryn the bartender at Eliza's. She makes a great cocktail but more importantly she was welcoming which is what we hope for in a hotel. Life on the road isn't always easy/fun so a little bit of kindness goes a long way.

Our only gripe about our stay was that our room had kind of a weird smell when we first walked in. After a few minutes we didnt smell it anymore. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location just minutes away from everything in the city. It has its own parking lot. It does cost $22 a day to park there, but thats cheap compared to every other hotel or parking garage in the city. Some people complain about road noise in these reviews, but unless you have bionic ears you don't really hear much road noise. A loud biker on a Harley that thinks he's a badass once in a while. Thats about it. We will stay here again.

We stayed there for two nights , the next day after we checked out and came back to NY, my husband found his lab top bag was missing . He was very upset since there’s important work related data in it .however, when we called the hotel, the front desk just said their manager are off and the video camera recording will be gone after 48 hours…. Instead of an attitude willing to help…we had to drove another 7 hrs back to this hotel , and I called the hotel several times on the way to ask if they could keep the Video recording , and they said nobody available to do this until Monday due to long weekend .luckily lab top found ( someone told me when I called them last time , nobody called me although I left my number , maybe they are busy) .
we still appreciate the staff finding the bag for us ,although not sure if we will come back next time, just feel the hotel isn’t a right choice for us. Another concern is we didn’t sleep well due to a bit humidity and the traffic noise( by the roadside)

I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo and had a decent experience overall, but there were a few issues that kept it from being better than average. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and has a stylish atmosphere. The staff members I interacted with were friendly and professional, and check-in was quick and easy.
The room was well-maintained and comfortable, with nice décor and amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel seemed to take pride in its appearance. The location was also convenient and made it easy to get to nearby attractions and restaurants.
However, the biggest downside of my stay was the noise. My room was near the highway, and traffic sounds were noticeable throughout the day and especially at night. It made it difficult to fully relax and occasionally interrupted my sleep. For guests who are light sleepers or looking for a quiet getaway, this could be a significant issue.
Overall, Hotel Indigo has many positives, including its cleanliness, friendly service, and modern design. Unfortunately, the highway noise impacted my experience enough that I can only give it 3 stars. I would consider staying again, but I would definitely request a room farther away from the highway next time.
