Slipped and fell in the shower due to no slip resistant things in place on floor. When we told them they were somewhat accommodating, however a few days later they sent my fiance a message trying to say it was probably due to drinking because there were empty beer bottles in room. First of all, I dont drink and drive, so to assume I was drinking in the morning before a 3 hour drive home is ridiculous. I did get checked out at the er, luckily nothing is broken, but I am disabled with a bad back, and that fall injured it more. Also, there was a dead bug on the bathroom floor. Pretty sure it was a roach.

Overall, the stay was okay, but I was expecting a little more for the price. The rooms are definitely dated, including the older LCD TVs, but everything was clean and the beds were alright. The AC worked well and the shower had good water pressure with plenty of hot water.
One downside was the really strong cleaning-product smell in the room when we arrived. It was pretty overwhelming and gave us a headache.
Morgan at the front desk was extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming and definitely made a good first impression.
The hotel is in a good area with plenty nearby. Not the worst stay by any means, and we were comfortable, but the rooms could definitely use some updating for what they’re charging.

I’m here my first night of three. I carefully read the reviews before booking, a 4.1 rating couldn’t be that bad right?! Well…. It should be 2.1 this place is horrible how is it even a 3.5 star? All the reviews that speak to the lack of cleanliness are bang on, please listen to these people.
I booked a 1 bedroom suite with sofa pull out. When we got to the room to sleep, directly the floors were disgusting, like don’t take off shoes and get comfortable cause you can’t it’s filthy. Then I tried to open the pull out sofa bed and the couch was full of candy from previous guests. Then we not ex the mattress was the shape of an A frame not flat. Lastly and the worst part we had no sheets, not only that the hotel has no one to give us sheets so the bed was useless. When I eased all this to the manager in duty I was told there were no rooms available to switch to.
I then decided to go down and speak to the new manager in duty and surprise there was a room available! Essentially lied to by the first manager.
Even though we downgraded to a lesser room we were happy to get two beds. That was until my son decided to shower in the new room and found numerous “hairs” in the shower that were not ours. Just absolutely disgusting. Like vomit in my mouth gross. Can I please not see that again. However he still decided to shower with shoes on. With shoes on, people please read this. How horrible is a hotel where you have to wear shoes on the shower? A previous reviewer compared this place to a hostel, that my friends is bang on, this is literally a hostel, bring shower shoes. Look how dirty the tub is, we haven’t even used it yet.
Run away people. Do not book this place.
Excited for my next two nights let’s see what they do to compensate or to clean or to let us book another hotel for our remaining two nights. Please!
UPDATE.
After raising my concerns to the front desk the next day. The staff of the hotel went above and beyond to ensure that my concerns were heard, and our resolution was put into place immediately. They found me a new room and insured that the head of housekeeping Lilyana walk through the room with me to ensure it was clean to my satisfaction, and it was. The rest of the stay the the staff were excellent making it a much more pleasant experience and stay. I appreciate them going above and beyond for me.
The hotel is dated as others have mentioned, the rooms are still not the cleanest (carpets are stained and need replacing).
I see that google has this as a 4 start hotel but I believe it’s actually a 3.5.

I am very disappointed with our recent stay\. The air conditioning unit in our room was not working properly, causing it to run continuously and making the room extremely cold\. The first two nights were awful, and we were unable to get comfortable or get a good night’s sleep\.
We had originally been scheduled for a room with two queen beds\. However, when we arrived, we were told that I would have to sleep on the sofa\. Eventually, the hotel provided a rollaway bed, but this was still not an acceptable solution given what we had reserved\.
On the third night, someone finally attempted to fix the air conditioning\. Unfortunately, that was after we had already endured two very uncomfortable nights\.
To make matters worse, there was no coffee available at the hotel, so I had to leave the property and go to Dunkin just to get a cup of coffee\.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience\. Between the malfunctioning air conditioning, inadequate sleeping arrangements, and lack of basic amenities, the stay did not meet reasonable expectations\. I would appreciate it if management would review what happened and provide an appropriate resolution\.

I’m always perplexed with the hotel industry and the standards of general cleanliness. Wouldn’t it be cheaper to maintain and deep clean hotel room carpet before it gets to the point it’s so bad it has to be replaced?
Perhaps it was the floor we stayed on (3rd) and there are other updated floors, but our room 306 had dirty stained carpet. On check in and initial room inspection, everything looked fine except the carpet. There was noticeable debris on the carpet at the foot of the bed. On exiting the elevator, I had noticed housekeeping was on our floor and working in a room. A vacuum was there in the hallway. I poked my head into the room she was working on and asked if I could borrow the vacuum. “No problem”
WHO VACUUMS THEIR OWN ROOM before getting settled?
I did.
I don’t consider myself “high maintenance” instead of making a huge deal, going back down to the desk and complaining and waiting for another room, I thought I could just remedy the situation. Sadly I could not. Even after vacuuming, the carpets only improvement was surface debris was gone. The carpet is stained and heavy worn and just plain dirty. Walking around barefoot wasn’t in the cards and I was glad I had brought slippers.
Another issue was there were 2 connecting doors to our room. This proved to make the room not soundproof on either side because of the doors.
One side a family with a baby.
The other, a barking dog. With this, we are selves tried to be quiet after a late evening return from a Pirates game to not disturb others.
The lobby is far better. It’s as if they make sure that stays intact for first impressions.
The pool: Looking worn and tired. The chairs (chase lounge) have broken down and you can feel the metal frame through the mesh seat.
Early risers who don’t want in room Keurig coffee -No coffee in the lobby until 6:30AM
The Pros: The general appearance of the room was acceptable and clean including the bathroom. The bedding was clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water and clean towels.
Bottom line: If you are used to living a certain standard of cleanliness, this hotel might not be for you.
