Lost one star because of a late wakeup call. I appreciated the elevator being secured and wouldn't operate going up from the lobby without a room key card. Room was clean, in good condition, and had a coffee maker in the room, with a fridge and iron. Plenty of plugs for electronics, free wifi. Stayed here on American Airlines voucher because of an extended flight delay causing a missed connection. 0 stars for the airline.

This place was horrible. We specifically asked for two beds in our room and when we checked in the night before everything was okay. When we got to the hotel, they said that they gave our room away because they were so busy and all they had was a suite. We had four people, and only one bed. Then, when we told the checking person our situation, he then goes oh, do you still want the room? Yes, we just drove eight hundred miles of course we want the room. He said, if we want to wait for a room to open, we can leave are bags with him and I said, no, because I don't know if they'll be safe with you with so many people around and he gave us attitude. The elevators where so sketchy they kept stopping and getting stuck. They also took forever to arrive. The rooms are so outdated and had a musky smell. The drapes were torn with holes in them and the ceiling had a big hole in it which looked like they put super glue on it which made the room worse. The water pressure was horrible. When going to take a shower the next day. Also, the bathroom kind of smelled, and I don't think they cleaned it. The only good thing was we had a stadium view which was nice but id definitely avoid this place if you can.

The stuff labeled above such as the room service and location is fine really standard quality stuff that you expect out of most IHG hotels. Man oh man these negative reviews they're really not kidding you though and I am so grateful that chase travel got me a free night because I would never want to actually pay to stay here. There's many aspects of it like all these small things that add up that really ask what is management doing here. They charge you $15 for parking, why? You're paying exorbitant rates to stay at a three-star hotel LOL parking should be free it's not even like the lot is maintained or covered and then I come back from my sporting event and the entire lot is full so why did I pay for parking exactly for a full lot are they even keeping track of how many cars are in there? Give me a break and it's just to Nickel and dime you or to follow suit with what the other Philadelphia hotels are doing meanwhile this isn't even really in the city of Philly they have more than enough space to accommodate free parking it's like a joke. Also the doors in the stairway are made out of titanium seriously they slammed so incredibly loud it's almost comical and all night you will hear doors slamming since the hallways are circular and the sound just echoes. This is fine just for one night it's whatever but could you imagine someone having to stay multiple nights here it would be utter hell. Their food is overpriced and taste Bland I just ended up eating out as well. The staff was actually pretty nice and helpful give me directions to some things so that's cool honestly if the owner or someone reading this get rid of the parking fee you really don't need to charge guests for parking especially parking you don't even have that's messed up. When I ask the staff that there's no parking they told me I could just park illegally in the back somewhere so great now I have to worry about my car getting towed all night. Like I said before they have a gigantic lot that can accommodate this entire hotel's guest and I largely suspect that they sell their parking to outside people to make extra money. I remember searching the reviews trying to find info about the parking and I knew that it was $15 coming in however I just didn't think a lot would be completely full usually when you pay for parking then you're able to get a spot easy. I think that the owners got rid of the reviews including the parking.
Edit : also why do the elevators take hours to bring you to each floor? Seriously we were waiting for minutes upon minutes at 1:00 a.m. how slow are these elevators like I said this is a small thing but it's all these small things that add up and you really just think management is not maintaining this building or really looking into like those extra details to make it look like they care. I assure you IHG being the big company that they are : don't.

Booked to be close to the arena, they advertised valet parking which they do not do. Not that I needed valet parking but why advertise something you don’t do? The hotel room itself was clean, the bathroom door was so awkward to shut and close we just sort of would have to jam it shut halfway in fear of getting stuck in a bathroom.
The breakfast we paid for was nice, but they handed us the breakfast tokens with it written on them to enjoy the complimentary breakfast… it’s not very complimentary if I have paid for it.
The staff were all friendly and helpful, not one issue with the great people who work in the building.
For the price we paid and the services advertised, it was a lacklustre experience but it was clean, close to the arena and did the job of providing a place to stay.

Serious guest safety and security concerns at this hotel.
After a delayed flight, we arrived around 2:00 a.m. traveling with our young children. After requesting a different room, we were issued keys to a room on the 9th floor. The keys worked. We opened the door and discovered a family asleep inside.
We were absolutely mortified, but our biggest concern was the serious security failure this exposed. If the hotel could issue us functioning keys to an occupied room, what assurance did we have that someone else couldn’t be issued keys to our room while our family was sleeping?
When we reported it, we were told their system showed no one was in that room—which made the situation even more alarming. We felt the front office was dismissive and showed very little urgency regarding what should have been treated as a serious safety issue.
We were told the assistant manager would review security footage and contact us. Despite my husband following up multiple times by phone and in person, we never received a call, explanation, or update before checking out.
We had already budgeted for this hotel and made plans around our stay. After arriving at 2:00 a.m. following a delayed flight with young children, simply relocating our family to another hotel was not a realistic option. We felt stuck and spent the remainder of our stay questioning whether our own room was actually secure.
A room change and complimentary breakfast do not address the underlying security failure. Guests should be able to sleep knowing strangers cannot be issued working keys to their room. What happened was unacceptable, and the lack of urgency and management follow-up afterward was equally disappointing.
