This is one of the dirty hotels I have ever seen from Holiday Inn typically we stay in a Holiday Inn that is much cleaner and much nicer with more friendly staff open check in the front desk Leo stated there is not room ready for us and I have to wait about 30-45 min for the room to be available and within five minutes I ask another front desk representative and she found a room that’s ready for us to check in, which did not make sense for Leo to lie . We had a couple issues with the shower door being opened and letting water to fill the entire bathroom coming out of the shower. Also, we had an issue with the TV being broken and not working. We informed the front desk and the maintenance in person via text and neither of these issues were fixed. The hotel had a bad smell and I recommend not to stay at this hotel never

Family stayed at this hotel to attend a FIFA match on June 14, 2026. Let me start by saying this hotel did not hike up the prices because of the World Cup like some of the other hotels in the surrounding area. Our family is extremely appreciative of this. Attending this event was a once in a lifetime moment and not having to pay an arm and a leg for the hotel room made it that much easier to enjoy the game. Our family was arriving late for check in and we notified the hotel in every way possible. Check in was easy. Everyone was super friendly. The rooms were nice. Did not experience anything some of the other reviews had experienced. Being across from my childhood diner made it even better. Super easy to grab breakfast. Adding late checkout online and paying for parking was super easy as well. We ended up having our total charged twice to our credit card but when we sent a TEXT MESSAGED to the company everything was explained. There was a technical issue and after a few days the second charge dropped off. Being able to use text messaging to contact someone at the hotel company was beyond helpful. No one wants to wait on a phone call to speak to someone. We even sent a text just in case to make sure everyone knew of the late check in and they responded by saying they noted the reservation and the hotel. After reading the reviews I was nervous it would be a bad stay. But it wasn’t and we are thankful for that! The walk to the stadiums is not far. About 30 minutes but it’s hot out. A great host for FIFA guests!

stay was just ok but the real problems started after i left….. i noticed an additional charge on my card for $150. no email or notice or anything. i called to ask what that was about and they claimed it was to replace a bed sheet that had a giant urine spot in it. they sent me one picture that could have been any of the rooms. they would not provide any more proof that was actual my room. i asked multiple people for help on what to do since this wasn’t my doing. no one was helpful and they said they’d call me back….. they didn’t. I then submitted time stamped photos to them showing the bed was clean the day of check out and they didn’t care. now i’m disputing with my credit card. felt scammy. horrible customer service to accuse a guest of something they didn’t do, charge them without notice, fail to provide sufficient proof, and then completely reject time stamped pbotos. the walls are also mad thin… you’ll hear everything from your neighbors, you have to pay for parking in the hotels lot for some reason, AND breakfast was not included and it was not good. just avoid this place…. there’s way better options out there. so disappointed.

This place is a joke. Check in was horrible. We had to stay to play for a hockey tournament. The rinks were about 45min away with closer hotels. Why stay here. We got here and tried to check in at 3pm. They said rooms were not ready. I get it. Check in is at 4pm. Understandable. I walked up to the front desk at 3:55 for a question. I also asked how much longer. They told me minimum 15min. With a bunch of people walking in to check in. The guy in charge saw my frustration and checked me in closer to 4:30. I gave me a room with city view. It was nice but at night it took us almost 20min to get an elevator to get up to the 10th floor. I will never stay here again. Oh and shower pressure sucks bad.

How can a waitress increase tips working a breakfast buffet? Meet customers at the seating sign and take a seat of their liking. Have a fresh coffee pot in hand with accessories on hand. Ask for a drink order and explain what is offered on the buffet. If they want a buffet, collect tickets at this time. Ask if they would like water. Have a spoon wrapped in prerolled silverware already on the table. Leave the table void of unnecessary items especially with solo diners. Return with other drinks requests. Ask if they found everything alright and refill coffee and accessories. Remove waste and empty plates and wipe if necessary. Return after the first course to refill coffee and water if needed. Ask if you can get them anything and if you see something go ahead and return with it. Leave the table void of dirty dishes etc. Take notice of large amounts of a particular food left on the plate. (example cold potatoes) offer to replace with fresh. Do not leave the check on the table until you have finished everything possible to make a positive customer experience. Notes: Make every trip with purpose. Never be empty handed. Keep a moist, clean towel handy and be seen using it. Try to service multiple tables at a time. Keep the buffet table clean and stocked and fresh. Replace any aged or sub standard items. By the time the customer leaves the table should be clean and empty except for their bill. Some customers leave cash tips. They start with a particular set of expectations and a price set. They often drop their set price if they see underperformance from their server. Try visiting other local buffets for ideas on what to and not to do. Good Luck! Ownership considerations: Remove sticky syrup pourers from tables and place labeled alternative dispensers close to the heating table. Schedule daily cleaning side charts. Table ware, salt and pepper, coffee station, bath room…ect. Put someone in charge. Need at least one person to take responsibility. Supervision and training will go a long way in retaining employees. Have that person assist the server and staff. Also to make contact with customers while dining. When possible hire customer service employees with the same first language as a majority of the clientele. Require or request they use that particular language even while addressing each other. Consider unannounced, unacknowledged and incognito ghost customers to privately report back to you. …based on observations Memorial Day weekend 2026 with the exception of Monday the 25th. An older, blond waitress (Philona?) did all these things without exception. She was tipped $10.
