  We had a great stay! Booked multiple rooms with large-ish group and everything went smoothly. Friendly and helpful front desk, laundry was easy, and breakfast selection was better than most at this price point! Rooms were clean and view was good. Location was absolutely perfect. Would stay again

  I was staying at a nearby Holiday Inn Express. While I was downtown, I stopped by this hotel’s reception desk, showed them my room key, and asked to use the restroom. They refused because I was staying at another branch. Treating a paying IHG guest like that is terrible hospitality. Shame on IHG.

  An Exceptional Stay at Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia-Midtown We had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia-Midtown by IHG from 29 August to 25 September 2026, and I can honestly say that this was one of the most pleasant and memorable hotel stays we have experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a team that was friendly, courteous, warm and genuinely caring. What made our stay special was not only the excellent facilities, but the wonderful people who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean, comfortable and well maintained. After a long day, it was always a pleasure to return to a room that was comfortable and welcoming. The generous breakfast was another highlight and gave us a great start to each day. A very special appreciation goes to the Front Desk team-Ari, Cyntia, Sean and Tanya. They were always approachable, helpful and ready to assist with a smile. No request ever seemed like a burden, and their professionalism and kindness made a real difference to our stay. Our sincere thanks also go to the Cafeteria team-Preston, Antonio and Catherine. Their friendly service and welcoming attitude made breakfast an enjoyable part of our daily routine. They made us feel recognized and valued, rather than simply being another guest. And a very special thank you to Tanya. She deserves a special mention for the wonderful care she took in helping us keep our room clean, neat and tidy. Her attention to detail, dedication and caring attitude were truly appreciated. Tanya, you are undoubtedly the Queen of the 16th Floor! Your hard work and the pride you take in looking after your guests did not go unnoticed. We would also like to mention Lama and Ali, who were always ready to help, often going out of their way to make things easier for us. Their caring and helpful nature added another special touch to our stay. Alexandra from HR also deserves recognition. Although her role is in HR, she always took the time to courteously ask about our stay and make sure everything was going well. That personal touch speaks volumes about the culture of the hotel and its people. After almost a month at the hotel, we didn't feel like we were simply staying at a hotel-we felt welcomed, cared for and almost like part of the Holiday Inn Express family. A hotel is built with rooms, beds and facilities, but it is the people who create the experience. The wonderful team at Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia-Midtown certainly understands this. A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made our stay so comfortable and memorable. Your kindness, professionalism and genuine care will stay with us long after we have left Philadelphia. We would happily stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia-Midtown by IHG to anyone visiting Philadelphia.   Stayed for two nights on a weekend. Arrived early but room was not ready and checked in a 3pm. Good location walkable to most sites. Breakfast was boring same food each day. Accidentally booked an ADA room. Water from the shower was flooding the floor - drainage not good.

  Sean, thank you! Shout out to you making our stay personable! The Cleavers recommendation was fantastic and I hope you tried Pera! The hotel was super walkable to the metro and alot around. Wouldn't go out late though. Breakfast is free in the morning and I'm sure you can find at least one thing to get. It's the standard fare. Shout out the gentleman that worka there that was making sure everything was clean and stocked, the real MVP in the mornings! The staff is quick to give suggestions for local things to do. We were rarely in the room, lots to do in Philly. The shower was hot, pressure was ok. Toilet is weirdly close to the bathroom door when you close it, but not a deal breaker. Bed was great and comfy!! If you're on a higher floor, we were on 19, you'll be stopped by every floor on the way down and the elevator gets packed. They are quick at least. Rooms start on floor 6 or 7 and go up to 20. Overall, would stay here again. Great price point!
