  The hotel is nice and conveniently located on a quiet road. Although it is close to the highway, the traffic noise did not infiltrate our room. There was plenty of parking, and the surrounding area has beautiful rolling hills, with plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance. The front desk staff was efficient and helpful, and check-in and checkout were both smooth. Our room had two queen beds and was comfortable for the three of us, with enough space to move around easily. The beds were cozy and comfortable. Unfortunately, the shower area was dirty when we arrived. We requested that it be cleaned, but the initial effort was minimal. We actually had to call the cleaning staff twice before it was brought to a condition that was reasonably clean. It was not a particularly difficult cleaning task, so the issue seemed more a lack of attention and effort than the difficulty of the job. Breakfast was the regular fare but satisfying. One nice touch was the use of squeeze bottles for jam, which is a simple way to reduce individual plastic packaging and minimize waste. However, the hotel still uses Styrofoam bowls, and hopefully they will consider finding a more environmentally friendly alternative. Overall, the hotel has a lot going for it—comfortable beds, a quiet location, helpful staff, convenient parking, and plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The cleanliness of the shower was the main disappointment and an area where more attention would make a noticeable difference.

  We chose this Holiday Inn Express to break up a long journey due to bad weather and didn’t think twice about booking because we trusted the Holiday Inn Express name. Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing. The room had a strong musty, unpleasant smell as soon as we entered. There was visible dust, a stain on the bedsheet, and the bathroom could definitely have used additional cleaning. We also noticed bugs in the room, which made the overall cleanliness even more concerning. Breakfast was disappointing as well, with quite a few items missing or not replenished. After a long day on the road in bad weather, we were simply looking forward to a clean, comfortable room and a decent breakfast before continuing our journey. Unfortunately, this location fell well short of those expectations. Overall, we were not satisfied with our stay and would hesitate to recommend this property.

  Dirty room carpet, sticky bathroom floor , smell of cigarette inside room even though is not allowed to smoke in the hotel. No price - service correlation.

  * This was not a great Holiday Inn Express. The location is right off the turnpike which was great but otherwise we didn’t have a good experience. Staff were not friendly - basically acted like guests were a nuisance. The lobby bathrooms were poorly maintained (overflowing trash cans, no toilet paper, etc.). The 2 queen suite was two huge rooms, which was great, but there were some really odd things about the space. The living space had hardly any lighting - one small lamp, a desk lamp and some very dim lights on the armoire. The pull out couch couldn’t fully pull out because it hit into the dresser. It was enough for my kids to sleep on but no room to pass by it causing us to have to walk around into the bedroom to get to the other side of it. * Breakfast at this location was really good and the exercise room was well air conditioned, had a treadmill, elliptical and exercise bike and a full rack of dumbbells ranging from 10lbs to 40 lbs. * Note: this property does not have a pool.

  The Hotel Receptionist that greeted me was Great, good customer service 👌 I wish I remember her name(she had a motorized scooter) very personable. The morning Breakfast was outstanding. Fresh, cooked very well, a nice variety, the set up was also very nice and clean. The area was quiet as well as the hotel itself. My Cons about this hotel is Yes,I am a smoker of many years and i believe certain etiquette comes with it in my opinion, but I must say the entire entrance area and the area where smoking is allowed was literally covered with cigarette butts, which wasn't very attractive, and definitely should be routinely sweeped and clean. If smoking is allowed in the front entrance area. My second Con was the bathroom shower, I like the walk in shower but the floor had several black dots on it, which wasn't appealing, it took me a minute to figure out it was just probably an old shower floor that definitely needs update. The shower door was clean but the shower door track itself looked very dirty from build up over time. The entire shower itself definitely needs update. The beds was very comfortable the carpet was nice and clean, very roomy for a 2 queen beds. Clean frig and microwave. I would stay again.
