  Worst rooms ever.. room smelled awful. Bed was hard and pillows were flat. Booked a room for $140 a night when I showed up to hotel they charged me $400 . Women over night a rude and rip offs

  I had lunch for the first time at Mr. Shane's with friends. The restaurant was clean and inviting. My lobster roll was not as good as I expected. It was too tangy for my palate. The sweet potato fries were excellent, as was the tortufo for dessert. Our waitress was good, even though there was a lunch crowd. The presentation of our lunch was lovely. I didn't stay overnight so I can't comment on the rooms.

  While the hotel itself is a decent place to stay, with a friendly staff, a dog-friendly policy, and a complimentary breakfast that was a nice convenience, the housekeeping experience during our stay was disappointing. Guests should be aware that daily room cleaning is not provided. During our 3-night stay, our room was only cleaned once, and we had to pick up clean towels and request additional supplies ourselves. When the room was eventually cleaned, it was not until after 3:00 PM, which was inconvenient after returning from a day out. There were also cleanliness concerns from the start of our stay. On check-in day, I found an empty, old, and dusty open cat food can left in the room, which made me question whether the room had been properly cleaned before our arrival. Looking back, I realize I should have brought this to the staff’s attention immediately. Given the housekeeping issues, I did not feel that the additional $40 per night pet fee was justified. I contacted the General Manager to request a refund of the $120 pet fee as a goodwill gesture, but my request was declined. Overall, the hotel has some positive qualities, especially the friendly staff and pet-friendly approach, but guests should set their expectations regarding housekeeping service and additional fees.

  Nicht zu empfehlen ! Die Zimmer sind in einem absolut abgenutzten Zustand. Es gibt keinen Lüfter im Bad und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt in keinster Weise. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist von der Qualität und vom Umfang unterirdisch. Frühstück gibt es nur bis 9.00 Uhr. 8.45 Uhr reklamierten wir im Frühstückbereich(Teil der Lobby)dass es kein Rührei mehr gibt und baten um Nachschub. Die Angetellte teilte mit, dass sie es der Küvhe weiter geben würde. 5 Minuten später ging diese Angesetllte zu allen Tischen und teilte mit, dass das Buffet in 10 Minuten schließe. Auf usnere Frage, was denn mit unsreer Betellung sei, antwortet sie kurz, dass es jetzt nicht mehr möglich sei, da es zu spät ist. UNGLAUBLICH !

  We were here 2 nights and the stay was pretty awful. The room was not fully vacuumed when we arrived. Lint and a peanut were on the rug. The ceiling had a number of what looked like rust stains, and the heater/ac had a mind of its own. The bathroom can use a makeover. Tiles were dirty. The TV did not work the first two days. They tried a new remote with no luck. They then said it must be the Satellite because some others had issues. When I went to check out I told them I thought our bill should be amended because the TV did not work at all the 2 days we were there. No luck. Their answer.... We can't change the bill and the TV is working now. (We were checking out!) You can't make this stuff up. Breakfast was a mediocre choice. The waffle machine timer was broken, and there was a little sign on the upper shelf saying to use the manual timer there. The "caution wet floor" plastic folding sign was in the single elevator the entire time wet or dry. Just not a place that cares about pretty much anything. Will never stay here again, and you should look elsewhere.
