  If you have ever stayed at a Holiday Inn and had a great experience, you won't be having that here. This is not a typical Holiday inn. It's an extremely old hotel very poorly converted into a Holiday Inn. Non of the usual amenities, with the exception of the free breakfast (which was not good at all). The room was clearly not cleaned when we arrived, there is mold on the walls in the bathroom, the carpet is filthy, the curtains are filthy. The room smells of musty mold and cigarettes even though it is supposedly non smoking. They don't enforce it, the balcony rail felt like it was going to just fall off. Terrible view, you have a Walmart Super Center to look at on one side and the back parking lot of the mall on the other. All the trash cans were full around the hotel our entire 3 day stay, the hallways smelled like the building had been flooded at some point. No pool. Just a small musty gym. The whole place was Motel 6 quality at best. Save your money. We finally ended our stay early when after 2 days of asking they kept refusing to give us towels. They said they didn't have anyone to wash them, yet the house keepers had whole carts full of fresh towels everyday when cleaning rooms. They wouldn't let us have any. The front desk wouldn't let us have any. We didn't shower for 2 days as a result and they acted like we were the jerks for wanting towels to shower with each day. While we were getting coffee there were other people complaining to the front desk about similar issues, when they left, the front counter person talked trash about them right in front of us and complained about having to give them their money back. There were very few families staying here, it seems to mostly be truck drivers that are tired of sleeping in their trucks and construction workers. That make the woman uncomfortable in the morning breakfast area being loud and saying inappropriate things. A couple had to take their breakfast and go back up to their room with their 3 year old due to the things these men were talking about in the breakfast area. Mind you, the front desk is right next to this room and within ear shot. Nothing was said or done. My advice, of you're a couple or family, stay somewhere else. There are so many different choices in the area, this place is not safe. Probably contacting the health department about them as well.

  The stairwells smelled musty. My room was several doors away from the elevator well yet you could hear every time the elevator went up or down. And I was awoken once in the middle of the night with somebody opening by mistake. It became obvious that the desk had handed someone a key to my room by mistake, since my key cards were invalidated . So it was definitely not a great experience.

  My stay was from September 10 to 22 / 2026, and everything was phenomenal. Everything was clean, and the breakfast was on another level. 100% recommended. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

  It is an older hotel that has been recently renovated. The rooms and service are okay. They offer a hot breakfast and complimentary items like a toothbrush if you forget yours. The rooms also feature large TVs, spacious fridges, and microwaves.

  My rating is due to the condition of my room. I did not really lodge a complaint as I checked in very late and was staying only for one night. In hindsight, that falls on me for not complaining. The positive is that the hotel is a really good location in the KOP area, right next to the mall. The breakfast was good as well. The bad is my room was dirty. Upon checking in, the front desk did say she had to check my room as something was flagged in the system maybe saying it was not ready. Upon getting to the room, it had not been cleaned well. The bathtub was filthy and I spend 25 minutes to clean it. Also floor of room was sticky. I did not make a fuss as again it was late and I was told the hotel was sold out. Hotel also is a bit outdated. Based on my experience, I would not stay again. Not blaming staff, again I should have said something.
